Ah-Maz-zing!! Walked in skeptical due to not knowing the restaurant, days later craving more food and margaritas again đ great portions, great quality, speedy service, nice vibe with the mariachi band-it was just an all around great experience. My significant other isnât a fan of Mexican food and loved everything he had, even he canât wait to go back. I had the chimichanga with beef and queso, the rice was the best Iâve ever had! He had the steak and chicken fajitas-delish! The chips, salsa and refried beans were super tasty while we waited shortly for our meals. Everything was prompt, tasty, inviting and satisfying. This is definitely a new top rated spot for us! And the house margarita pitcher was hitting!! total 5 stars.
Update 2/17/22 We went back tonight and it was horrible service. The waitress Ana Laura (name on the check) was not attentive at all and could careless with dissatisfaction of the food. First- she never checked in on us to see if we needed anything outside of ordering our food and drinks initially. Never asked if we needed refills of water or another margarita pitcher-(money loss right there). Then my significant other ordered the same meal as our first experience and was highly dissatisfied with the steak and chicken being over cooked, and even the peppers and onions being cold. It was confusing how the food was over cooked and cold on a hot plate. Needless to say when we finally seen her passing by (after like 30mins) he attempted to bring to her attention the issues and all she responded with was are we ready for the check! Zero reception to a quality issue, could careless in the customer service department and definitely allowed us to feel dismissed and unheard. While transitioning to the check she asked if we wanted boxes still after my significant other started to express poor food quality, instead of asking probing questions on what was wrong and getting feedback and potentially even getting a manager to address the issue. His plate was still full, you could see it wasnât enjoyed at all. Maybe it was a bad night for her-idk-but you just donât treat customers in that manner, thatâs complete loss of business. We were planning on dining in with a large group for an upcoming bday, Iâve spoke highly about this spot after my first experience at the hospital where I work and now I will make sure I follow up with tonightâs experience so that no one else gets this type of treatment while spending $100 on food. Super disappointed. We wonât be returning. I took away the 5star rating and...
Read moreHonestly, screw this place. Iâm not someone who gets mad over food mistakes â Iâve worked in food service, I get it, things happen. What really pisses me off is when people try to force an issue after Iâve already said no.
Went there with two buddies. We all got our food, cool. The mariachi band was actually solid and really trying, so props to them â only reason the atmosphere gets a 3.
I didnât get what I ordered, but let it slide at first thinking someone would check in. The band plays two songs, no one checks on us. I stand up trying to flag someone down â nothing. Twenty minutes go by before the waiter shows up. I calmly explain the mix-up, he says, âYeah, I know you said seafood.â Okay... so itâs been a while, I gotta go â just take it off the bill. No harm, no foul.
He offers to box it to go. I say, âNo thanks.â Two minutes later he comes back saying theyâre boxing it anyway. I repeat â no thanks. He brings the bill â and theyâre charging me for it.
Letâs recap:
You messed up the order.
Took forever to check in.
I told you I didnât want it.
Now youâre forcing me to take it and pay for it?
Absolutely not.
I walk to the front desk. The guy and girl there couldnât have been more rude â eye-rolling while I calmly explain the situation. He tells her to go get someone from the back. Fine. Still treating me like Iâm the problem.
Eventually another guy comes out, and the first one goes, âYeah, I was in the back when it happened.â Oh? If you knew about the screw-up and were there, why am I still getting charged? Why am I being forced to take food I didnât order and now donât even want?
This place didnât just mess up â they doubled down on bad service, had an attitude, and tried to gaslight me. Not worth your...
Read moreWe came here for a New Years Day late lunch. Came around 2:30. Service was lacking from the very beginning. The waiter came to take our drink order. We asked him about juices for our kids and he didnât know what they had. He could only tell is cranberry. Okay, fine, we eventually found the info on the menu. He brought drinks and we asked for a couple more minutes to look at the menu before ordering. After waiting what felt like about 10 minutes, a different waiter came to take our order. We started off with shrimp aguachile. It was inedible, unbearably hot. Flavor was terrible. We put it to the side and akses the waiter to take it. Not once did he ask how it was or inquire why it was left untouched. After what felt like a very long time we got a kids chicken quesadilla with french fries (we ordered a cheese quesadilla with rice and beans) and 2 kids chicken enchiladas (we ordered 1 chicken enchiladas and 1 chicken burrito). See pictures, both plates were exactly the same. The enchiladas suizas were incredibly dry, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long, waiting to be picked up. When the waiter came back to check on us he asked how we were doing and walked away before we could answer and ask for napkins. Much of the food was left barely touched, we didnât ask for boxes, and we had to find someone to take our payment after waiting for over 10 minutes. We had been here to eat when they first opened and everything was so good. Iâm not sure when everything went down hill but today was an awful experience. We...
