This past Saturday my wife and I drove in from St. Louis specifically to visit the Restless Spirits Distillery and loved it! We made reservations for a tour / tasting and our tour guide Roxie was very informative, funny, and down to earth. In fact, there wasn’t one member of the staff that wasn’t extremely friendly and customer focused. The drink menu was very well thought out and the few drinks we did order were very delicious. After the tasting (of all the Restless Spirits spirits) we made sure to walk out with a t-shirt for our son, some glassware for me, and most importantly a bottle of their Son of Erin 15 Year for our ever growing whiskey collection. All of the spirits were tasty and well crafted but, my personal favorites were the Gullytown Whiskey and the Sons of Erin 15 Year Whiskey, which were amazing! With the distillery only a few hours away from home we plan on many more trips to KC and the Restless Spirits Distillery in the near future. Thank you to Roxie and all the staff for a great experience! We will...
Read moreI scheduled a tour with my husband for a date night. He loves Irish whiskey. We arrived a little before our tour to have some cocktails. I ordered the strawberry lemon drop and it was delightful. He ordered the cinnamon old fashioned. He liked it and I tasted it and really liked it too. Adam walked us through the tour and gave a very detailed history on the master distiller and her husband. We learned and walked through their process of making their spirits. We finished off with a tasting and Adam shared more history and background on each spirit. It was a great tour! I'd recommend anyone to do it. It was really cool to see all the bits of history and tradition that they tied into their location and their product. All of the employees were very nice and inviting. They all know a lot about their product and have great recommendations. We will definitely be back, just wish there were more...
Read moreFirst off, the staff... so friendly, informative, and accomodating. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel like we belonged there and had been there many times before even though it was our first time. Secondly, the spirits... very good. We were there for the poitin tour and tasting. A spirit I personally had never had. Quite interesting. Conor was a great guide and sorry teller. You wanted to love the spirit even before tasting it with the passion he relayed in the tales he told. Once I did taste it, I personally did like it quite a bit. Reminded me of an Agricole rhum as he described. The daiquiri they make with it is exquisite. Conor talked with everyone in the group and really seemed to care. I highly recommend visiting and I, for sure,...
