The fig jam paired with goat cheese jam, in particular, is a must-try, tantalizing your taste buds with its unique flavor. They also offer a variety of truffle products and seasonal cheeses, making it unique and fun shopping destination.

Last Halloween, was my first time visiting the shop. I was assisted by the very knowledgeable Ian. Ian helped me chose the perfect blend of cheeses paired with other unique products. He also made sure we sampled any cheese we were interested in. I purchased “Hosteler’s Old Witch Swiss,” a “Gourmino Gruyère,” “Chabert Gruyère Savoie,” and an exquisite “fig jam.” These were a huge hit with my guests that Halloween evening, I highly recommend that they go check Wickford Cheese & Sundry out for themselves.

I recently learned the shop will be hosting “Meet the Maker” events,m. This is where you can meet the producers of these cheeses and learn more about their process. This cheese shop is a great experience all around. I’m not a big walk-in-and-browse person, but this shop has lots of interesting cheeses and other foods to check out and wander around for a few minutes. There are little sample bowls tucked in the cases so help you find something you like. The staff is very friendly, offering samples and making recommendations, but not pushy. There are a lot of cheeses that you will not find in other stores here, and I was honestly surprised how reasonable the prices are for the product/location. It’s not dissimilar to what you might pay in Whole Foods’ cheese section and with more interesting selection, nicer experience, and better service. They also have fresh bread and lots of snacks/dessert items. This would be the perfect place to come for supplies for a charcuterie/antipasto setup for a party or just a really good...

I had the absolute best experience at Wickford Cheese & Sundry! I came in looking to build a charcuterie board for wine night with my boyfriend’s mom, and their team went above and beyond. They took the time to understand my preferences, offered tastings, and helped me hand-select the perfect cheeses and meats. Not only were they incredibly knowledgeable—sharing the background, tasting notes, and pairings for each item—but they were also so warm, friendly, and genuinely excited to help.
