I've visited this restaurant 8 times with my family in the last several years, to which I was surprised when I realized I didn't provide a review/rating of this restaurant. My family and I recently ate at MRKT on 25 May 2024 and this time, I'm not forgetting to capture the moment. We had a reservation but arrived on property significantly early (40 min early). Normally, we wouldn't have any problems getting a seat early; however, the restaurant was pretty crowded, so we actually had to wait until it was closer to our reservation time.
When the time arrived, we were escorted to our table (the hostesses at this restaurant are always very friendly). We started the evening with a Classic Old Fashioned, glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shirley Temple for our drinks. The bread that normally arrives at the beginning is always scrumptious; I remember this was my family's first steakhouse restaurant to experience pretzel bread (no, those popular fast food pretzel stands don't count), and since then, we fell in love with that bread and expect it at every steakhouse restaurant we visit.
For our appetizers, main entrées/sides, and dessert, we ordered Crab Cakes and a bowl of Crab Chowder; Bone-In Ribeye, 10 oz Filet Mignon, Salmon, Sautéed Spinach, Grilled Asparagus, Mashed Potatoes, and a Chocolate Cake with an Espresso Martini, respectively. The Crab Cakes were good but it wasn't the same as the previous times we ordered it. The Crab Chowder was good as well but doesn't take the crown over a traditional bowl of Clam Chowder. The Bone-In Ribeye was phenomenal; in fact, I feel it's a better value than the USDA Prime Ribeye with respect to similar qualities. The Filet was just ok in my opinion (lacked a healthy char and seasoning). The Salmon was outstanding (according to my daughter). The sides were extraordinary and my family really enjoyed the dessert.
I've also tried the following items during previous visits and felt it would be of value to specify it on here as a noteworthy mention - those items are: New York Steak, Prime Rib, Herb Roasted Chicken, USDA Prime MRKT Steak Burger, USDA Prime Ribeye Steak, USDA Prime New York Steak, Alaskan King Crab, Lobster Tail, French Onion Soup, Sautéed Wild Mushrooms, Green Beans Almondine, Mac and Cheese, Baked Potato, Sweet Potato, and Creamed Corn. Majority of these items were great, though I don't recall its specific details to share with everyone.
The service at this restaurant has always been top-notch. Unfortunately, I don't recall all the previous servers we've had but our recent server, Michael F, did a superb job for our table. He was a true professional and highly attentive throughout the evening. The décor in this restaurant has always been eclectic and inviting. The tables are spaced out adequately so that you aren't easily listening to your neighbor's conversation. I don't know if I'm getting this restaurant mixed up with another, but I thought there was a fire display/design in the middle of the restaurant at one point. During my recent visit, I noticed it was gone and replaced with a more simpler look. I can't say I'm a fan of them tearing that feature down, but the restaurant still looks nice.
Finally, the prices are reasonable. I mean, you won't experience two dollar sign pricing here since it is Aliante's premier steakhouse on property. I especially respect this restaurant for their continued support to the active servicemembers and its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I enjoy coming here. This isn't my favorite off-strip steakhouse, but it still brings elegance and fine dining to locals and visitors, at a respectable price. I highly recommend this restaurant...

Review:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at MRKT Sea and Land Steakhouse located inside the Aliante Casino, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary journey from start to finish. The impeccable service, combined with the delectable dishes, left an indelible impression on me.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff at MRKT Sea and Land Steakhouse is truly outstanding. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations throughout the evening, making us feel like valued guests.
Now, let's talk about the food. To start, we ordered the Caesar salad, and it was a refreshing delight. The crisp romaine lettuce, tangy Caesar dressing, and perfectly seasoned croutons created a harmonious symphony of flavors. It was a classic rendition executed with finesse.
Next up was the Grilled Asparagus, and I must admit, it was a revelation. The asparagus was cooked to perfection, retaining just the right amount of crunch. Each bite was bursting with a smoky and earthy flavor that complemented the tender spears wonderfully. It was a delightful accompaniment to the main course.
The broiled oysters were another highlight of the meal. Served on a bed of rock salt, these plump and juicy mollusks were a seafood lover's dream come true. The delicate brininess of the oysters was enhanced by a rich and savory topping, creating an explosion of flavors in every bite. It was an exquisite combination of textures and tastes.
For the pièce de résistance, we indulged in the Porterhouse Steak, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Cooked to perfection, the steak was beautifully charred on the outside while remaining tender and succulent on the inside. Each mouthful was an explosion of rich, juicy flavors, leaving us in awe of the culinary mastery on display.
The Yukon Gold mashed potatoes served as a perfect side to the steak. Creamy, buttery, and perfectly seasoned, they provided a delightful contrast to the robust flavors of the steak. Each spoonful melted in our mouths, leaving us craving more.
To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a Dirty Martini with Tito's vodka. The balance of the cocktail was spot on, with the smoothness of Tito's vodka perfectly complementing the bracing olive brine. It was a cocktail that embodied elegance and sophistication, leaving us feeling pleasantly relaxed.
Overall, the MRKT Sea and Land Steakhouse inside the Aliante Casino is a true gem. The outstanding service, paired with the unforgettable culinary creations, makes it a must-visit for any discerning food enthusiast. Whether you're looking for an exquisite steak, delectable seafood, or a memorable dining experience, MRKT Sea and Land Steakhouse is the place to be. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreThis was our worst dining experience in Vegas and one of the most expensive. Very disappointing, to the point that we resolved not to eat at any more of the Aliante Hotel/Casino restaurants. It's inconvenient to leave the hotel to eat but worth it to avoid this poor quality of food. We ordered Calamari for an appetizer, it was chewy. Our entree was a Porterhouse Steak with Lobster Mac n Cheese (you have to pay extra for a side to go with your protein) and a Caesar salad. The salad arrived and had browning on the edges of the lettuce like it was cut up much earlier in the day or maybe even the day before. The steak was ordered medium rare and came out a solid medium or maybe even over. It was dry, tough and chewy. Very little flavor to speak of other than the charred bits on the edges. The "macaroni" and cheese was a loose cheese sauce with too much of what tasted like sherry and little bits of lobster. We had to dig around just to find any. The pasta was just swimming in the sauce rather than being coated by it. We were having Sprite to drink until they brought us soda water because the machine ran out of syrup so we were swapped to lemonade and root beer rather than fixing the machine. Our server even commented, "oh, were you not very hungry?" when he took the plates of food away. We told him it just wasn't good and he tried to say it was the cut we ordered. No offer for a discount or apology at all. The table across from us caught the server double charging tip on their bill, they were a large party so gratuity was included but the server didn't say anything and several of them tipped a second time and had to wait a long time for him to correct it. The servers all magically disappeared behind a partition when everyone was trying to pay and leave, but we could see them all hanging around chatting. I can't believe this place was voted best new restaurant in North Vegas, I've cooked a better steak from the grocery store discount bin at home. Don't waste your time or money...
