We did not have a chance to post this review due to a family emergency. But we dined here the day after Thanksgiving, Nov 26. My wife and I were looking forward to trying out this new Italian restaurant, Bistro 57. The ambiance was nice; however, the food was not up to our expectations. After seating us at our table, a basket of bread was brought to us, which was very good. My wife ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo which, on the menu, states that it includes shrimp, clams, and crab as the seafood. When the entree arrived, my wife could see the clam shells, 3 large shrimp, and a lot of linguine. The waitress never asked if she wanted any parmesan cheese grated over her meal, which was disappointing, as all Italian restaurants (even Olive Garden) will ask if you would like some parmesan cheese grated over your meal. Please inform Bistro 57 of this small, but very important detail, as the parmesan cheese truly completes the meal. Secondly, the bread basket was empty, as you could clearly see, but the waitress never asked if we wanted any more bread. And so my wife began eating her entree. She said to me that the clams were so incredibly small, that she couldn't even taste them. We understand that the small clams are no fault of the restaurant; however, she didn't find any crab in her meal whatsoever. She told me that the only ingredients that she saw and tasted in her entree were the 3 shrimp, the small clams, and a load of linguine, which was very disappointing to her. She is Italian and was expecting to have a bounty of seafood included with the linguine, especially considering the $28 price point. Also, the waitress didn't check on us until we were almost completely finished with our meals. Normally speaking, the waiter or waitress should check on the customer at least mid-point of the meal. At that point, he or she would clearly see that the bread basket was empty and would offer more bread! As for my dinner order, I too found my linguine & clams entree underwhelming. I'm sorry to say, but we won't be returning...
Read moreIf you're anything like me, you find it hard to trust most people's taste in food. I am here to tell you...stop the presses and trust in mine!!! The CHICKEN ANGELO...OMG!!! This was by far one of the best dishes I have tasted in the longest time. If you like chicken, artichokes, peppers, mushrooms, lemon cream sauce then this dish was made for you!!! All of the flavors were very complimentary of one another. No one flavor over powered the other. First and foremost my compliments to the chef. The only downside is this dish is an April exclusive and will be gone in a few days. Not exactly a side note, but our server Victoria was equally amazing. She clarified the description of my dish and even had comparisons, and suggestions for my wife as well. My wife had a super basic dish in chicken Alfredo but after Victoria's advice to blacken and cube the chicken breast, it took her dish over the top. Victoria's attentiveness and attention to detail was not some act because we observed her work her other tables as she gave everyone including us an amazing experience. I could easily go back monthly to have my new favorite dish, Chicken Angelo. I enjoyed it so much I had to ask for a more cream sauce to take home for my leftovers. To my surprise it had to be made from scratch which seems like they were more than happy to do. I haven't been this satisfied with eating out in so long that I had to write this. Lately we have stopped eating out because people do the least and expect tips just because they work in a service field and most don't even take pride in serving. It's refreshing to know that some people still care how others feel and go above and beyond to make you feel special. We thank you for our great experience.
PS. Chicken Angelo should be a...

Update 10/17/25 This time I enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak paired with golden roasted potatoes, fresh green beans, and a rich mushroom sauce on the side—and it was truly delicious. The steak was tender and juicy, with a flawless sear that locked in every bit of savory flavor. Each bite was cooked just right, making it the star of the plate.
The roasted potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, seasoned simply but perfectly. The green beans added a bright, fresh crunch that balanced the richness of the steak and potatoes.
I asked for the sauce on the side, and I’m so glad I did—it was loaded with tender, flavorful mushrooms in a creamy, savory base that complemented the steak beautifully without overpowering it.
Altogether, this meal was a perfect combination of textures and flavors: hearty, fresh, and deeply satisfying. I’ll definitely be...
