Pros: • The location is modern and clean, which initially gave us high hopes for the experience.
Cons: There is no signage indicating whether to seat yourself or wait for assistance—it was confusing to figure out what to do upon entering. It took about 15 minutes for a waitress to come to our table. When she finally arrived, we were ready to order and requested water, which didn’t arrive until our food was served. The food quality was disappointing: • The fish and chips were bland and unseasoned. • The sliders were dry and flavorless. • The tater tots were served ice-cold—clearly frozen and uncooked. • The wings were cold and did not appear to be properly baked or fried, as we were told they would be. • The chicken sandwich had a thin, unseasoned breast that lacked flavor entirely. The service was equally bad. The waitress announced halfway through that she had to leave and someone else would take over, but she continued bringing food to the bar instead of addressing our needs. When we finally asked for the check, she brought it without any concern for the poor experience. I’m assuming to ensure she received a tip. Despite being fully staffed, the servers were gathered in a corner chatting and on their phones instead of tending to customers. We did not get silverware until asking; our food arrive with no utensil’s.
Our family was excited to have a new restaurant close to home, but unfortunately, this visit was a complete letdown. The food was not only disappointing but also concerning—serving uncooked items could lead to someone getting sick. We’ll stick to Sierra Gold, where the food and service have always been consistent.
Would not recommend this place and won’t...
Read more4 of us went on 02/28/2025 around 7pm and all got food poisoning from the burgers. We let the server know that one of us had thrown up in the bathroom after eating and she could care less. We warned them there might be something wrong with the food, and nobody came to talk to us or anything. They just made us pay and leave.
The burgers all came with a small handful of fries, and one of us had ordered onion rings for a $2 charge. They gave her 5 pieces in total, and they were all fairly small. Each burger had no flavor and was greasy. The cowboy was marketed as having bbq aioli and candied bacon. The BBQ had no flavor and the bacon was the same cheap bacon they used to use at the Aliante's buffet across the street, thin, chewy, and greasy. There was nothing special about it. The only things we got that were okay were the nachos and the street tacos, and the tacos felt overpriced for what they were.
The drinks were also terrible, overly sweet and one dimensional. One of our party said the Southern Gentleman tasted like it had expired milk in it.
Edit I called myself a couple days later and spoke with the Director of Operations, Jason, and he gave us several solutions to make up for our experience, though the manager who picked up the phone at first was a little dismissive. He also said they will look into the incident. I hope whatever went wrong is corrected as soon as possible. Note that there are other reviews in the past month that mention meat coming undercooked or...
Read moreI tried it out because it's close to home and the food was looking good on the website pictures. I arrived and there was only two people already there. It's a seat yourself and I did. While waiting, I could see it was clean. I saw the waitresses chatting, not quite looking my way yet. Then they finally spotted me, but continued to chat. Now, they had to bring me a menu so that I could make a selection. Then one of the waitresses started looking like she was trying to get some menus together, but still continued to chat for a few more minutes and then finally walked over to give me the menus. She was friendly and attentive. I ordered fish and chips and shrimp happy hour special. It came pretty quickly, but the shrimp were over cooked. I don't send food back, I just won't order it again or don't go back. The fish was okay, but one piece was a little overcooked. The atmosphere was nice. My suggestion is to have the waitresses waiting by the door to make sure that the customers are given a menu promptly and not having to wait for them to turn around to realize someone has entered. I may try it again, especially since it's across from the Aliante. Definitely, won't order fish and...
