I got a Nail and pedicure from April. I do want to share a few things I noticed. I opted for the pedicure package that included a paraffin dip, as listed on their service menu. Maybe it's because of how they described the service on their website, but I was expecting a luxurious spa day kind of pedicure. Instead, what I got was about a 3 minute foot scrub and maybe a 5 minute paraffin dip (where they dip a paper in wax and place it on your feet). And even then, she couldn't do it properly because she was running out of materials. There was no foot exfoliation or cuticle removal using a nipper. After removing the paraffin bag, she started applying the color without wiping it off with a towel. What also bothered me was that she didn't shake out or change the towel that she laid down at the beginning, even when she scrubbed my feet, cut my toenails, applied the paraffin dip, and applied the color until the end. I received the service while stepping on all the scrub residue, nail dust from filing, paraffin crumbs, and my toenails. Their chairs were quite comfortable, but the position of my feet was quite uncomfortable, and I kept slipping and my feet kept popping out. Also, when curing my pedicure gel through the UV light, there wasn't enough space, so my feet had to be half in the air, or the tips of my toenails had to be squished inside the machine.

But about 6 hours later, my nails became bumpy, the cuticles were not well arranged, and the color started to peel off in some places. I requested a refund, but she ignored my messages while posting good reviews on her story, and she didn't answer my calls either. Also, it's really strange that as soon as I posted my review, several 5-star reviews about April popped up within a few hours, haha. Is this how Chelsea and the staff handle customer complaints? What a waste of money and time. Chelsea, I know you're seeing this. I'll be there for a refill on the 14th, so...

Chelsea is truly one of a kind. She offer free haircuts to children on the autism spectrum, inspired by her own son’s journey, and that alone speaks volumes about the kind of heart she has.

I came across her page at the perfect time. One of my students had extremely matted, tangled hair and I had been working on getting him comfortable enough to let someone help. Finding Chelsea was nothing short of a miracle.

From the moment we walked in she was patient, kind, and radiant with a calming energy. She took her time in making my student feel comfortable and safe, and treated him with so much respect and understanding! She didn’t just cut his hair, she transformed him!!! He walked out looking like a completely different kid, but more importantly, you could see the shift in his confidence almost immediately.

And if that wasn’t enough to blow us away, at the end of his haircut, she surprised him with a skateboard!!!! There truly aren’t enough words to express my gratitude. Chelsea changed my student’s life, right before starting at a new school too! If you’re lucky enough to be graced with her presence, you are in great hands. THANK YOU SO MUCH...

Super disappointed in my experience. First off, this place is half way under construction with plaster all around. And it’s SUPER dirty. Everything, the couches are stained, the bathroom is disgusting, so I was very apprehensive to even stay for my lashes to be filled. I’ve been getting my lashes done for 8 years now, but just moved so decided to try this place cuz it’s close to my house and had great reviews. Not only was the salon bad, but this was the worst lash experience I’ve ever had. It was extremely uncomfortable getting my lashes put on, which is a sign of the lack of professionalism of my artist Raquel. She was nice, but from my experience, not good at doing lashes. Since getting them done, my lashes started falling out the same day. I was annoyed, cuz usually my lashes last at least a couple weeks. But now it’s been 3 days and most of my lashes have fallen out. I seriously can’t believe I paid for these, they’re that bad. I can even feel them sitting on my lashes, another bad sign of a bad lash job. I would definitely avoid this place. My autistic son who is 6 years old HATES haircuts. We have taken him to kid friendly salons, although they are patient with him, the haircuts aren’t always the best. Today was the first time we took our son to the Beauty Lab, Chelsea was so patient with him, my husband did not have to assist (first time ever), she listened to a particular song he was humming and instantly had the music playing to calm him down. This is hands down the best experience and hair cut my son has ever had. If you have an autistic family member, I encourage and recommend this salon, particularly Chelsea. We will be forever clients and recommend her work. I feel like a huge weight was lifted from our shoulders knowing my son has a hair stylist who takes her time and cuts his hair with love. UPDATE We have continued to take our son to The Beauty Lab 702, the hair cuts are still great! Chelsea is very patient with my kid. He is actually doing a lot better with haircuts. He is not as anxious as before, he lets her cut his hair while wiggling around. I truly love this place!

Been going to the Beauty Lab for about a month now getting my eyelashes done by Leanne. She is friendly and very patient; this was my first time getting a set, and Leanne made me feel very comfortable. Im the type of person who gets cold anywhere I go, and she keeps a guest blanket just for people like me! My lashes look great, I wanted a more “natural but hybrid look.” Leanne did it perfectly, I could not be happier with them. I just had my first fill, and the shop got colored lashes before my appointment, so I asked for some purple lashes on the edges. Again, they turned out great! I love the length of my lashes, I look done up even in my casual clothes, and the purple is so subtle, it’s exactly what I envisioned. I get compliments all the time! Looking forward to my next appointment! Below are some pictures of my lashes; I have an older phone and took these at home, so I apologize in advance for the weird lighting & blurs!

Been going to the Beauty Lab for about a month now getting my eyelashes done by Leanne. She is friendly and very patient; this was my first time getting a set, and Leanne made me feel very comfortable. Im the type of person who gets cold anywhere I go, and she keeps a guest blanket just for people like me! My lashes look great, I wanted a more “natural but hybrid look.” Leanne did it perfectly, I could not be happier with them. I just had my first fill, and the shop got colored lashes before my appointment, so I asked for some purple lashes on the edges. Again, they turned out great! I love the length of my lashes, I look done up even in my casual clothes, and the purple is so subtle, it’s exactly what I envisioned. I get compliments all the time!
