Edwards Food Giant — Local services in North Little Rock

We moved into this neighborhood a week ago and today I grocery shopped here. I decided to pick up a salad to go for my husband and I and got several items from the other side, like potato salad and broccoli salad in another container. I didn’t see a sign that said which was which but both sides are the same price, 7.99 a lb. When I went to check out, the lady in self checkout griped me out loudly for not putting in “Mediterranean Bar” for the potato salad and broccoli salad. I politely told her that both sides were the same price, and I didn’t know there was a difference. She proceeded to tell me that it was customers like me that messed up the inventory because I didn’t differentiate. Inventory? But it’s done by weight and not by item! She then said she would “go ahead and let me have it anyway.” Like she was planning on taking it from me?

Anyway, I just think that if a store is going to have higher prices than any other store in town, and I am going to pay $20 for a salad, I would prefer to not be griped out at the checkout for not differentiating between “Mediterranean Bar” vs “Salad Bar” when it’s the same price per lb. I doubt I will grocery...

This store is one hot mess. My spouse buys a container of best choice ice cream friday. We opened that night and it was freezer burned. The whole top was covered in ice crystals. It had only been in our freezer few hours. This tells me it's probably been in their freezer a long time. My spouse bought a birthday cake the same day. Granted he waited until the day of, but he asked if someone could write my name on it. The response? "Does it have to look good?" What?? They told him if it needed to look good, he would need to speak to a manager. OMG LOL. Nothing like eating freezer burned ice cream. Nothing like getting a cake and asked if it needs to look good. Lol. I cannot figure out why he shops here. They sell old freezer burned ice cream. Cakes they question if they have to look...
