Club Nails — Local services in North Miami Beach

The only reason why i’m giving a 2 star, is because the first time I came here, was for a manicure and a pedicure, the service was great, and I loved my nails so much that I came for a 2nd time (bad idea). Today I decided to bring my sister along with me, to do a pedicure, and I was so embarrassed bringing my sister in this place! The place is filthy!! I went to the restroom and it looks like no one has cleaned up the sink, there’s mold all around it!!!! Even at the chairs that I was sitting at to wait for a technician, the equipment looked super old and has rust.

The lady that did my pedicure, did not ask me what shape I wanted my nails, did not provide me with a nail color palate to choose from, and did not even ask me if I wanted acrylic on one of my toes (all though my big toe was chipped on the side, I was just going to request to have if clipped and filed down, not to add acrylic!!!! When she asked my what color I wanted l, before I could even answer, is insisting on white!!! That is so racist to think because I am a black Woman, that I would want white. I told her light pink, and she did not even give me a palate to choose from the colors, instead she just came out with a pink, she THOUGHT I wanted, I asked her if there’s a lighter pink, and she just kept on insisting on this pink that she chose!!!!

As you can see in the picture, my big toe on the right (where she added the non-requested acrylic) is longer than my big toe on the left. I asked her to cut my toe nail on the right to at least match the length on the left, and she just filed it down a little, didn’t even cut it like i requested!

She did not even put on the massage chair for me, nor gave my feet a good scrubs!!!!!!!!

What I asked for verse what I got. This nail shop has a page on IG so I decided to check it out and I was disappointed. I got a deluxe pedicure and full set ombré overlay. First off I felt like they guy that did my services was impatient and a little rough. When I went to get my pedicure they did not put a plastic covering inside the machine I had to request one and that is just UNSANITARY. After scrubbing my feet this man threw the foot scrubber in the foot basin I was just like what the hell who does that which made me asked him do they properly clean there tools. Then I asked for callous removal or paraffin he said they didn’t have it until one of the woman over heard and offered me a deluxe pedicure. The pedicure actually turned out to be very relaxing. I then should him pictures of nail ideas many of the designs he said he couldn’t do; so I choose ombré because another nail tech said the man could do them. Well this is the pic I showed them and this is what I got. Another nail tech had to completely the simply cloud design. This is the WORST OMBRÉ I ever seen. It barely even blends. They charged me $52 for these nails smh 🤦‍♀️ not worth it at all... the deluxe pedicure was $36 it was nice but SCARY due UNSANITARY conditions. I would be surprised if someone called the department of health on the I do not think they are CLEAN! Would be surprised if people got fungus...

The best salon in all of South Florida hands-down. The people that work there have been there for at least 20 years. Same people same faces always have been my favorite technicians. I especially love Tina! I’ve been going to the salon since I was 19 years old and the best thing about it is is that they know what they’re doing and my nails always come out great. !! Every single salon that I’ve been to I’ve had horrible experiences because they don’t care and don’t take their time to make sure your nails look nice and you feel good when you leave.
