I've been coming this restaurant for over 10 years and have recommended this restaurant to family and friends for the food, ambience, and service. Recently a friend and her husband were visiting from out of town and I was excited to recommend this restaurant after finding out they loved Thai food. Prior being seated, I inquired about the area that was blocked off and was told it only opens up when the general area of the restaurant is full. The food was good as usual, although one my guest said they have had better coconut basil curried beef (pamarang). We at times would take breaks in our eating and we noticed the waiter was coming too often asking for our plates. We kept telling him please let us keep our plates as we're not finished eating. It became annoying and distracting when at least 4x he kept approaching and interrupting our conversation. Although we paid the bill after completing eating we were still enjoying talking a little bit more and drinking our drinks of water. Even one of my guest went to the restroom and upon his return was going to ask the waiter to take a few pictures of us. And then all of a sudden the manager came up to our table and said he needed the table and we had to leave right now. I was so embarrassed and shocked that we were asked to leave like we didn't spend money on food or didn't pay a bill. In all my life I have never been excused from my seat by a manager after eating and patronizing their restaurant. My poor guests verbalized they never experienced anything like it from where they came from. Imagine the feeling of embarrassment and shock as a visitor in Florida thats how patrons are treated. I tried to keep it light hearted as I didn't want it to ruin their evening as we still had plans after dinner. I asked the Manager to take a picture of us so we would have memories of the visit between friends but now it's a reminder of the poor service and undue embarrassment. I didn't want to address my dismay at the time with management as it would ruin the evening further. So when I called the next day and spoke with the Manager he was apologetic and said he would address this issue with staff at a meeting, he unfortunately did not extend a compensation for ruining a dinner experience. A gift basket to my guests or voucher would of shown sincerity . Unfortunately it will be my last time visiting and recommending this restaurant. It's left a bitter taste in our mouths. I'd recommend Panya Thai and rice Asian house for alternative...
Read moreIf I can give this establishment a one star I would . I was highly disattisfied with the service that I received here lastnight . There was nothing wrong with the cleanliness of the establishment and the crab Rangoon that I received was tasty but it was down hill from there . I ordered shrimp tempura and unfortunately there was a misunderstanding between me and the waiter . When my plate arrived there were two pieces of fried shrimp , 2 pieces of fried frost and one fried broccoli . This apparently was the appetizer and not the sushi Rolls. I let the waiter know that it was not what I expected and I did not want it . Instead of offering me what I expected she called over her supervisor who was blatelny disrespectful . She came over asking what was going on and I told her and she said that I NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for not reading the menu correctly . I told her that I'm sorry the waiter did not explain this to me. She then referred me back to the menu stating that I should have read it because it is clearly stated there . I was not upset with receiving something other than what I exptexpected , but i was upset with the treatment that I received after . There were no guest service skills done what so ever and if anything she just added fuel to the fire of the disaster . I paid for my two drinks and left. I used to love this restaurant and I actually took my sister there lastnight ( who's never had Thai food ) to enjoy but we could not . I do understand that losing one guest wouldn't be much of a lost but this continued behavior will not be good for this establishments name. Bye...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY REQUIRING EXTRA ASSISTANT WITH A SERVICE ANIMAL!!!! Discriminatory establishment that knows nothing about the ADA and other laws surrounding service animals. My story is below and I’ve filed a complaint with the better business bureau.
We went to this restaurant to eat lunch. We had with us a 3 pound Yorkshire terrier with proper service animal documentation. She serves my mom for various issues. I sat down with her while my mom went to the restroom and the manager approached me and told me I wasn’t allowed to be in the restaurant. I showed her our documentation and stated that she is a service animal. She told me that the law states that only large service animals (this is absolutely false). I told her I read her posted signs at the front (she had three different signs) and she even brought me a sign to read. There was absolutely nothing stating the legality of the size of dog and simply said that only service animals were permitted. I continued to explain to her the laws and she said “we do not accept small dogs here”. We left the...
