Great place. The one security guard there is really nice and friendly. He helped an old lady to her car and put the grocery's in her car. Bill the manager is one of the nicest guys. He comes to work on his days off so he can help make the store better. They do the best they can for the amount of people they have working. Cashiers are really friendly. Latoya is always in a good mood. She always has a smile on her face and is always excited to ring me out. Mike the assistant brings his wisdom from many years in the industry. They have an A team here at this location.Yusuf is the produce master. Raised at a young age to handle produce. He carefully handles and picks out the freshest produce for the shelves. The future of save alot is in this young man's hands not only in produce. I've never once seen him stop to take a break. He always says produce is his #1 priority. And last but not least we have smoke session Tymika. Not only does she bring her looks and dedication to the table but back in 2014 she won an award for fastest hands in the northeast. Don't let her looks mistake you for a hard...
Read moreMay 2nd 2023 I walked into this community save alot to buy my groceries as usual and to use the Amazon hub. The cashiers and stockers are ALWAYS nice. I picked my cart and shopped from my list and all was well. The transition from food to new cart is what shook me. The cashier placed my fresh clean food into a dirty cart. I went back today to talk with the manager. I wondered. If he went into his community save a lot and their carts looked the way our carts look would he call save a lot head quarters? Would he take pics and show the manager? I threw away my food. I found the cart my food was transferred to. The manager said we should be getting new carts soon. I truly want to believe him. So until then. If you shop at this store please MAKE SURE the cart they transfer your food into is as clean as those suburban save a...
Read moreThe cashier was absolute TRASH. I am a brown skinned person and so was she, so this isn't about race. I am one of those people who will go to the "other side of town" to avoid encounters with angry brown women. The store itself already isn't the cleanest. As far as my encounter with her, I bought groceries with cash. I asked her nicely if I could get change for another $20 bill I had....This female dog lied and said she didn't have change like I wasn't going to see the change in the drawer when it opened. If you want to have a nice day, don't go to this save-a-lot. It was a last resort for me and believe me, I won't be back. By the way, the cashier's name was Diamond.....for real, her parents named her that. Yes, her...
