Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

The workers here are extremely rude and impatient. We have come here on 3 occasions and had terrible experiences being served by two young women and one guy now. We are intentional about being respectful and our orders aren’t difficult. They are blatantly disrespectful and it’s unprovoked at that. It’s truly unbelievable but when you scroll through the reviews I see we’re not alone in this. I walked in on the most recent, and last occasion, and the guy and woman there completely ignored me. The girl walks to the back. Finally he walks over and just looks at me with a blank stare. So I start ordering as he begrudgingly starts to scoop. Then a white customer walks in the store and the girl immediately rushes to her with a smile and the warmest greeting. After that a white customer and his son walk in and the guy that is scooping my ice cream and still hasn’t said a word looks up and says “What’s up bro” to the father with a smile. (I bring their races into the conversation because that’s the only issue I could see as we didn’t even exchange words). Then the other day my girlfriend accidentally said the wrong ice cream name. After she corrected herself the girl just chunks the ice cream cup across the room in an angry manner while rolling her eyes. If I could give 0 stars or negative stars, I would. We stopped in for some ice cream like any other family would. Now to preface, my son has a severe, SEVERE nut allergy. Our simple request was to have the employee use a clean scoop and a fresh tub of ice cream. The employee goes to ask who I assume is the manager on duty, Kyree. I heard her, first of all, tell the employee “I’m not gonna do that.” Then proceeds to tell us that they dip the scoops in water to “wash them.”This will not disinfect the scoops. Then she says it would take too long for a new tub to thaw. Then says we can purchase an entire tub so we can scoop it ourselves. This is absolute discrimination. We weren’t asking for a lot by any means. This employee was utterly disrespectful and even started to ignore us and move onto the next customer. Needless to say, we will NEVER EVER return to this...

My family and I made a late night ice cream run and Baskin Robbins is our favorite choice. The guys that run this place are absolute professionals and know there products in and out. I didn't know exactly what I wanted so i was allowed to sample a couple of options which added my decision. My kids knew exactly what they wanted and once we made our choices it was time to enjoy the spoils of our adventure. We love this place and have never had a bad experience. The restaurant is always clean, and the staff is always helpful. This is the best choice for ice cream on rufe snow. In fact it is the best option in North Richland Hills or...
