Batteries Plus — Local services in Northfield Township

Please don't replace your battery or screen at this location if you like your phone. The team that worked on my phone one year ago is no longer there (unfortunately). Samantha received my I phone 6s for screen replacement on Monday March 20th 2023, phone working fine, only screen cracked after a drop the day before. She checked all the boxes on the phone and said it will be an hour and a half to replace the screen. Only to go downhill from there on. Long story short they told me at receiving the phone back that I need to go to Apple store to restore my phone, and I did. But Apple store in Northbrook, IL. told me after twice attempting to recover my phone restored that I need to take it back to the 3d party( that would be Batteries and Bulbs) because Apple thinks the 3d party e.g. Batteries and Bulbs damaged my phone's logic board. I told the store employees to have the manager call me..., never got the call back. So really, really disappointed. In all fairness, after getting Apple's opinion the Batteries and Bulbs at Northbrook refunded me for the $93 cost they charged me, but that doesn't give me any confidence about any future services with them. My main concern is reliability. Why do they hire people who are not competent enough to do services needed. I wish I could give the a...

Fantastic. I had my work iPhone stop turning on. I took it to ATT, they were like we sell phones, we don’t do service. Ok fair... I went to apple to see what was up. They were not very helpful, and the guy stated it could be the battery. However, after waiting for a long time they would not replace the battery because the phone would not turn on. This was not cool. I was told to try a battery place. I figured I would go to a reputable place, nothing in the middle of the mall. Went to Batteries plus. Milo was able to open my phone, replace the battery and gave it back to me before I watch a YouTube video of how to do it. He honestly told me before that a new battery may not fix the issue, but there would be no cost to me if it didn’t work. He plugged it in and he the apple logo popped on I got excited, and when the phone vibrated I was pretty sure it was gonna work. When I saw the home screen I screamed and started dancing. You guys have a customer for life. God bless Batteries plus Bulbs. Also they carry all kinds of flashlights, batteries, and Peak lighting products! They got me juiced and charged up.

I came to Batteries + Bulbs on Dundee Road in Northbrook on a Monday afternoon. I picked some bulbs for my office ceiling fan, the bedroom lamps, and one of the bathrooms in my condo. I have very bad vision and some of the lights were too bright when I installed them. I called on Tuesday and explained my problem to Mike. He asked me to bring in my old no longer manufactured bulbs and explained some options on the phone. I came in on Wed and he showed me in the wall display how the different bulbs would look. He explained LED technology and advantages. He explained 3-way LED lamp bulbs vs old 3- way light bulbs. I kept the original LED's l purchased and am happy. Mike explained the advantage of selecting slightly smaller 8 watt Duracell bulbs to reduce glare in the bathroom.. EXCELLENT CHOICE! Great for my eyes AND everyone else thinks they are very bright! Mike, thanks for your patience and for making me an informed LED bulb purchaser. I will recommend your expertise to everyone who needs bulbs and batteries.
