My experience with the doctors at U of M Northville pediatrics has been wonderful. Dr. Rassel especially has made me feel heard and supported while working through treatment for my son’s ADHD.
My experience with the call center and staff however, is atrocious. Filling refills for prescriptions is a nightmare and takes a ridiculous amount of time. Then women (especially one named Cathy) will call and have the audacity to tell you your experience doesn’t really fit with what she knows about U of M, essentially telling me my experience that she asked me about is untrue. When explaining that her opinion about my experience is irrelevant in solving my issue of having my son’s prescription filled, she played the victim and said she’d need to end the call as I was being rude.
I hope U of M begins to focus on their customer service and patient relationships! I only stay because I love my doctor, if she ever left I would too since there’s nothing else positive about the...

I went for Carpal Tunnel and after assessment to tell me what I knew I had and a brace that didn't fit, the next appointment consisted of a heat pack (which I do at home) and the PT printing documents while I was sat there and she read them to me. I cancelled my future appointments, bought the right size brace online that she said didn't exist (it did, but she wanted a full appointment to "make one"), and got a book of stretches from the library that help with CT. They have my expired labs request on the account...not sure how that was supposed to be helpful. Mychart shows it fine, but nope; not in their system. No rhyme or reason on whether or not it's actually attached to your account. Absolutely ridiculous that they don't keep it...
