This restaurant is awful and I will not be back and I will be making sure that people know how bad it is. We arrived and were seated for 23 minutes before a server even came over the table next to us waited even longer and she came to us first resulting in the customers to get up and walk out and it wasn't until that point that she even acknowledged their presence. She got our drink order then only brought out 2/4 drinks, no straws, no silverware. We placed our order and asked to start with saganaki about 20 more minutes went by before that came out and when it did she didn't bring us any bread, extra, plates nothing. When we asked for the bread she brought it back and we got 1 measly piece of pita bread cut into 4 pieces and the saganaki was pretty large. We requested more pita bread. Then our food came out...I ordered an omelet and the eggs were not fully cooked and it was slimy with about 5 pieces of sausage through the whole thing and cheese on only one end, one of the little girls ordered French toast with bacon...it arrived with sausage. My friend ordered the strawberry crepes which arrived but My and crunchy with strawberries too bitter to eat so she scraped them all out. The whole time our menus still sat on the small table. My friend had coffee and the waitress never brought a refill so we had to ask a different waitress for a straw, coffee, and silverware. When we finished eating the waitress decided it would be a good time to finally check on us. We asked for separate bills, she screwed those up too. Once we got our bills she never came back to bring us boxes or anything so once again we had to ask for boxes from a different waitress. We told the cashier about how bad our experience was and she responded with "ya, we've gotten a lot of complaints about her today", no "sorry about that" or "what can I do to make it better"....nothing. Like I said we will not be back and we will be sure to let people know to stay...
Read moreBefore you dismiss this review - I have attempted to contact the restaurant directly multiple times. I have gotten zero response. As I promised them if they chose not to respond in any fashion, I would have no choice but to leave a review.
I would leave a zero star review if possible.
We took my mother-in-law here last week. We've been there many times and had a perfectly decent meal in the past. Not last week. It was not busy. I ordered the Greek Platter. Was served two absolutely disgusting scoops of Pastitsio and Moussaka. Completely unrecognizable. Burnt and attempted to hide it under the red sauce normally served on the rice and green beans. It never should have been served to a guest. The Gyro meat was also burnt. Like it could not be cut even with a knife.
Another from out group ordered chili and somehow they were out of oyster crackers. And a chicken Greek salad. Which did not have chicken on it. When we asked, we were told that he did not order chicken. Which he did, as I was sitting next to him. Regardless, the appropriate response would have been "I'm so sorry, let me get you chicken". Not argue with the guest.
My salad came out AFTER my dinner was brought out. Not with the chili and crepe that my tablemates got before their meals were brought out.
We asked multiple times and i eventually just got up and got our own napkins, and water was never refilled no matter how many times we asked.
The manager on duty was not particularly helpful and eventually took a pittance off the bill but it was too little, too late.
Maybe it was an off night, but the lack of response from management is not acceptable from a service establishment. Between the service and the food I cannot recommend...
Read moreIt is unfortunate that I am leaving a bad review as all the other Red Olives so far have been quite nice. But this one was quite disappointing for many reasons.
So to start went to order some take out about an hour before closing. Girl taking the order on the phone seemed to have a bit of an attitude about it.
I didn't think much of it, but a friend nearby that heard the call commented on it being pretty clear she was 'Done with the day.'
Whatever everyone has bad days, that's no problem. Wait, then go in and get my order.
Ask for some ketchup (which I want to say the lady checking my bill out was quite nice to me.) Lady checking me out ask another girl to grab some who go's back and disappears for like 5 minutes until the lady ringing me up goes back instead and gets me some and apologizes.
Okay no biggie again.
But get home and find the 2x Fettuccine I ordered for friends had about 1/3 the sauce they should have on them. Super dry and bland.
Also the fish and chips I got they didn't add any tartar sauce and the fish I got with it were tiny little things. But wait there's more...
On the Ruben also ordered no sauce was used or on the side so that was missing too. And my friend got Grape Leaves which are supposed to come with sauce and you guessed it... That didn't happen.
Petty much everything in the order was messed up and disappointing. I don't know what happened, but this isn't what I am used to...
