I’ve never experienced something so unprofessional while trying to make a simple purchase. I was waiting in line while the employee helped the customers in front of me. When it was my turn, she gestured for the pillow I was buying, so I handed it to her — assuming she was going to start ringing me up. Instead, she puts the pillow on the counter, lays on it, and says, “It looked comfy,” as if she was testing it out for herself.
She then proceeds to have a full conversation with another employee about how they’re both applying for other jobs — all while she’s supposed to be helping me. She even stopped counting my change mid-transaction to continue talking about how she doesn’t want to work there anymore.
