I recently had the pleasure of dining at Boss Burger in Norwalk, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. Having lived in lower Fairfield County for over two decades, I can confidently say that Boss Burger has secured its place among the best in the region, thanks to a winning combination of delectable cuisine, inviting atmosphere, and an outstanding staff.
Let's start with the star of the show – the burgers. The succulence and flavor of the burger I ordered were unparalleled. Each bite was a savory delight, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. The menu boasted a variety of options, catering to different tastes, but no matter your choice, you're in for a treat. I opted for burger, which was out of this world.
To kick off the meal, I took the waitress's recommendation and tried the wings as a starter – a decision I didn't regret. The wings were perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful meat. It set the tone for the evening, and I highly recommend it as a delightful way to begin your Boss Burger experience.
Beyond the food, what truly elevated my dining experience was the atmosphere and the exceptional staff. The ambiance at Boss Burger strikes a perfect balance between casual and upscale, making it suitable for various occasions. The restaurant exudes a welcoming vibe that adds to the overall enjoyment.
Now, let's talk about the staff, particularly a waitress named Laura or Laurie (my apologies if I misremembered). She was a striking blonde-haired lady who embodied the epitome of politeness and hospitality. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel like valued guests. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her attention to detail was commendable.
By the end of the meal, it felt as though Laura or Laurie had become a part of our group. Her genuine warmth and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. The seamless coordination among the staff contributed to the overall efficiency of the service.

Read moreThis was the first time my wife and I had Boss Burger and will almost certainly be the last. We each ordered a burger and chicken fingers, then I also ordered mac'n'cheese and frank'n'beans. While I got the full order of 4 chicken tenders, my wife only got 3 so we split one of mine. It would've been nice to have the full order of chicken tenders as they were the best part of the meal and we paid for 4 each. The burgers were fine which was a bit disappointing considering the name of the restaurant. The frank'n'beans were good for what they are. The mac'n'cheese should be taken off the menu as it was worse than EZ mac and the cheese is disgusting. I was initially excited to see how big the serving size was but now I'm sad because it means I'll be throwing out more of it. Overall it was an underwhelming experience and makes me question my friend's judgment as they recommended this restaurant. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the chicken tenders were good, the staff was friendly, and my order was waiting for me when I arrived to pick it up. For anyone looking for a burger in Norwalk, choose Dry Dock Bar & Grill over this place and...
