Steals & Deals — Local services in Norwich

So I stopped in yesterday because I had never been before. I'm so glad I did. This store has a huge selection of stuff from vitamins to tools all the way to electronics and clothes all at huge discount prices. It's very similar to ocean state job lot but with cheaper prices and more name brand products. The staff is super helpful and really nice. The thing I liked most is that it's a family owned business, not another big corporate store. The people that work there actually care and it shows. I will definitely be back as they said the inventory always changes. In total I spent about $100. I went online to see what I would have paid if everything was full price and I should have paid over double that. Great store, great staff, huge selection of stuff that always changes. As a person who frequently goes over to Norwich to see family that lives close by I drove past Steals and Deals many times but never went in. Today I had some extra time and I decided to go in....gosh I'm glad I did. :-) They have a wide assortment of hard to find items, closeouts, etc in very affordable price points. :-) I bought a gallon of alkaline water and a bottle of honey water (which amazing I have to tell you) and only spent $3. :-) The real topper of my time there was my cashier noticed that I was about to purchase a warm honey water and she went out her way to find a cold one in the fridge for me....which makes it tastes so much better. :-) Her kind gesture and overall great attitude have made me a very happy customer. :-) I will definitely be back in the future when I am in Norwich....you should stop here too, you won't be disappointed. :-) Keep up the good...

Didnt find much of interest and wasnt really impressed. Almost seems like a collection of clearance items from big box stores (target, kohls, walmart, home depot were the main ones I noticed) that were collected and turned into a store at a tad lower price than retail but much more than was probably purchased for. Lots of stuff from specific stores brands so questionable whether thats even legal but what do I know? Not any amazing discounts if your a good clearance and sale shopper already and nothing to write home about. On an unrelated note, a family member and a coworker both had bad experiences here of being followed both in the store and in the parking lot. I decided to check the store out myself despite what I'd heard but didnt share...
