I enjoy a good chicken pastor burrito bowl from Chipotle but tonight felt like I was on an episode of punked! Upon arrival the line went out the door and the lady behind me kept talking out loud to herself about how horrible this place was to the point that we wrote her off as a bit cray cray. Once I got to the counter to order, even though there were six emoyees in sight, only one person behind the counter making dishes. He struggled to remember items even a couple seconds after I ordered which made making one burrito bowl about 10 min. Long. Then I ordered a kids taco for 5.95 and he asked how many I wanted, so I said whatever comes for 5.95. He proceeded to make three tacos, so I asked if that was kids and he said yes. Then they ran out of lettuce, and were more stingy than I’ve ever seen with ingredients. I went to pay and when the cashier gave me the receipt I noticed I was charged for regular tacos. I brought the tacos back and explained I ordered kids tacos at which point he told me there are no kids tacos. I pointed to the menu at the item and he told me no that’s not what I ordered. I explained no that was what I ordered but not apparently what I got. He then told me I was yelling and being disrespectful and that he couldn’t give me a refund and that he wasn’t even the manager he was helping out then stormed away. I sat the counter waiting for about another 5 min for someone to come back but they hid! Then I turned to my friend and said I guess I’ll call the police and report this to my credit card. Then someone came from the back and told me he would either give me the refund or make a kids taco. I took the refund and got out of there as fast I could! I’m also second guessing what I thought was a lack sanity of the lady behind me but I think she had their number lol. Never will I step foot in here again and I live and work...
Read moreThe manager that was on 02/24/2025 needs to be removed. My ticket said the host was vanessa, but it definitely was not vanessa! I have no idea what the gentleman's name was and the employees on the shift were afraid to even share what his name was with me. The other employees were amazingly positive and friendly despite his Nazi fear-mongering, yelling, and disrespectful attitude to them & the paying customers they were assisting.
I kindly asked him to speak kinder to his employees and we customers. His response was angrily stating he worked in management for 14 years and knew what he was doing. I literally saw my friend and one of the employees wince in fear when he yelled at every little thing that the employee did. We are all just trying to get by and we need these jobs to exist. I'm still struggling with why someone would abuse a good team. I've been at this Chipotle many times and always got an excellent service. Please remove this manager and make him work the back and learn some humility and how to be a part of a team. From where I stand he should never be in management and work with such...
Read moreOrdered on the app + picked up in drive-thru...got home to find my $13 burrito was roughly the size of a credit card, and my son's kids meal was literally just a handful of cold cheese in a cold tortilla. Legit looked like the guy just grabbed a handful of cheese from the fridge, put it in a tortilla, and wrapped it up.
This was my 2nd, and last, time visiting this location. There was literally 1 customer in the store when I arrived, so they weren't busy at all, and thus there's no logical reason, other than laziness, that my order turned out how it did. When I saw the appearance of my food I returned to the store for a refund. There were at least 6 workers in the store, with all but 1 standing around talking in the back, avoiding eye contact with me. When the cashier finished assisting the 1 other customer, he remade my order himself, and was polite.
Whoever was working the drive thru last night (2/3/24) either needs more training or should be fired. Sucks to see how bad fast food joints have become the past few years, but not too shocking based on how lazy most of their employees...
