Blast the ac. Unwelcoming for a guest who is on their own. Automatically assumes your picking up an order but when anyone else comes in they ask if your dining in. When you tell them you' are dining in they act like you are an inconvenience for being there to dine in.They put you directly under the AC and when you finally get them to move you and you find one not as close they say ok and try putting you back under that ac. Instead of adding if you need anything else like dessert they just hand you the bill. They really need to work on their customer service skills. No napkins given and then the previous trip the person next to me had to flag the waiter for me and never came to see if I needed anything and then I had not been given napkins and by the time he came with a napkin it was atleast 30 min and I was done with my meal!!!! Then they put a Togo charge on your bill when you order take out and don't even let you know this and then the waiter was uncaring and said oh thats the way it is. But if there is a charge it should be mentioned or atleast out on the menu rather than throwing that on the bill and it coming as a shock. Read moreWe came in a half hour before the kitchen closed without realizing it (our household has a courtesy rule to not go to restaurants within an hour before closing time. We've all worked food service.) But the staff was still friendly and welcoming. Our server, Dawn, was pretty cool. Not too overbearing, but friendly, kind, polite. Nothing bad to say about her. The food was still hot and tasted fresh. The drinks were spectacular. We even got dessert (which we never do) and that was amazing as well. Trust me, try the towering fudge cake.
I ordered a burger that originally comes with bacon, asked for no bacon, and actually got the burger without bacon which might seem simple but there's been oftentimes at restaurants where modifications are forgotten. So lots of appreciation to the cooks back there.
Even the coleslaw was so good. Most restaurants in this area are really bad at coleslaw. But it was fresh, crisp, and seasoned/dressed well.
The waitress, cook staff, bartender. Everyone did their jobs effectively and efficiently. Will be going back there again.
And if the front host (who seemed new, but was also friendly)is reading this, good luck with the job! I hope all goes...
Read moreThHaddock. (Sierra) was initially cordial, responding to the table, taking the drink order, and the appetizer/meal order. Made a comment that we did not want our meal to come out immediately after receiving the appetizer. The server stated that she would not do that and that she would wait until we had finished our appetizer before placing the meal order. She even acknowledged that she would keep an eye on the table while enjoying the appetizer. We received the appetizer, and before we could even really get into the appetizer or finish it, our meal arrived. We made the comment that the server had not been truthful, and another of the food servers delivering the food stated that the meal is delivered 10 minutes after the appetizer. Two of the party of three had the special Haddock/lobster meal. Haddock was dry, and the heat lamps caused an overcook appearance to the haddock. Will no longer be my go to restaurant with company or dining out. Mind as well go...
