I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and never had a problem, until recently. Rude customer service from the ladies that work there. Upon leaving and paying my bill, one of the ladies was so rude kept asking for me to put a tip and pointing to the receipt saying how much I put for tip, I looked at her and said you didn’t serve me and how rude to ask, I’m not leaving a tip. Your staff need to understand this isn’t a fine dining restaurant and tips are courtesy, which in my situation I felt was not warranted because a quarter of the pans with the food was empty no fresh food put out and rude behavior soliciting tips if you work for any other company With professional management you would have been fired. I have worked with people who have been fired for soliciting tips. You just don’t do that to people it’s very rude and uncalled for. And honestly, that lady does not belong working there from now on you will start losing customers and shouldn’t be in business if you continue doing this to people as they leave. And apparently after seeing some of these reviews, I’m not the only one and it’s sad because this place used to be good and it’s gone downhill so fast in the last few years. My daughter and her friend was there not too long ago as well, and this happened to her and her friend as they were leaving too not good for your...
Read moreI went in for dinner and I wanted to enjoy an all I can eat buffet because I hadn’t eaten in 3 days. I go in and I’m constantly being stared at by one of the workers. I planned on staying there for a couple of hours so I can sit and enjoy the all I can eat and take my time, especially because I hadn’t eaten in so long. On my second plate the waiter comes and gives us our check. Cool. I go to the front and told the storefront cashier that I’m going to pay now but I’m going to use the bathroom so don’t clear my plates. She Said ok. I use the bathroom I come back the table has been cleaned off completely. Pretty rude but no big deal. She simply didn’t relay the message to the servers. I get another plate and one of the ladies come up to me telling me I need to tip them. I told her I already paid, I don’t need to give you anything. She chuckled and walked off. Not the best environment, I wanted to enjoy myself that night but I was rushed out of the restaurant from the moment I got in. ( when I got in and even left, there was 15-20+ available tables, so there was really no need for the rush ) their food is decent at best, I don’t believe they keep up with the food being fresh, rather allow it to sit for hours in a hot atmosphere. Won’t be...
Read moreIt has been a number of years since I have been here and I had enjoyed it in the past but it has become run down since I was last here.
Going through the doors and on the glass partitions by the tables there were fingerprints and smudges everywhere. The ladies room had a very full garbage can. Granted, it was toward the end of the day so they may only clean it in the morning but it was something that probably should have been checked.
The food in the buffet was kept hot but seemed very generic. Most buffets have some items a little spicier than others or a variety of flavors to give contrast. There seemed to be none with any spice or heat at all. Most items were fried or in a buttery sauce. There also was very little vegetable choice. One dish that I have always enjoyed at Chinese buffets has been the seafood or crab casserole with cheese. Their version was crab or imitation crab? ( Not entirely sure what kind of seafood it was), celery and onion in a mayonnaise base with cheese on top. I have always enjoyed this at other buffets but I couldn't even eat this with all the taste of mayonnaise. I've never had it with mayo.
It's unfortunate but I don't believe...
