Order number 35134044549070856. Ordered takeout at 445 for food to be ready at 515, checked in through the app saying I was on my way at 500 because the fries are never ready when you get there, showed up at 515, store not busy and 4 people working, checked in, burgers were done and was told to wait because fries were almost done (the fries are never ready), so I ordered my daughter a milkshake while we waited, girl took my order and I paid with my card and added a tip, girl stood there for a while and then started on the burger line, checked in with the fry manager again and he then put my fries together and gave me my order 540, and I politely asked for my money back on the milkshake and she called for the manager who gave me a refund for the milkshake. I told her that the dollar amounts did not match because I added a tip to the order. Was told there was no way to refund me for the tip I paid on an order I didn’t get, not even offered a resolution lol. Burgers were cold and dry, and the fries were over cooked which made sense. Poor experience from a place we normally eat from twice a month after sports activities. Daughter asked if we could go to another place next time that...
Read moreWent to Norwich,CT Five Guys last night around 9pm. Service was efficient. I had to take off two stars since the lady handling and putting all the burgers together was NOT wearing her mask over her nose!😳 As I was staring at the lady's bare nose in awe as she was putting my burger together, I thought about why I chose to eat fast food in the first place- which is a long story in itself. With the spike in positive Covid cases in the area, diligence and enforcement with food safety should not be taken lightly. We arent talking about handling boxes of frozen patties... I'm talking about someone breathing one foot away ONTO the burgers they are about to serve. As I waited for my order, I imagined all the contaminated burgers made by that employee that night alone. I also watched a family of 4 eat their burgers at their table just a few feet away from the only Exit door we were allowed out. No wonder Covid numbers are rising. I wouldnt go back during the outbreak since theres nobody enforcing proper mask use. $10 burger not worth catching Covid. I did not end up eating...
Read moreWe ordered through uber eats today and chose to pick up on site. Half an hour later the order still showed preparing. We queried in the restaurant, and the stuff couldn't find our order at first. We waited in car, a couple minutes later a stuff brought our order to us. The burger was so soggy and inedible, and the fires were burnt. We had to take it back to the restaurant and show them their food was inedible. The stuff was willing to make us a new order, but the manager stopped him and said it was Uber Eats' fault that we were not notified when the order was ready. We ordered through Uber Eats several times. Never had problem with other restaurants. If the soggy bread was Uber Eats App's fault, how about the burnt fires? Did they burn themselves in the takeout bag? The manager refused to make a new burger for us and asked us to deal with Uber Eats. Pandemic or post pandemic, we simply will not support a local restaurant which doesn't respect their food nor...
