We've been coming to this establishment for many years and they used to do a great job. We even bought the monthly membership which is a great deal for regular customers like us. Unfortunately, the employees recently have been skipping out on some parts of the car. I mean come on, you're a "car wash and detailing" and you don't even wipe down the dashboard? They didn't even bother to vacuum the cup holders and side pockets. You may be thinking "oh people make mistakes" but this is the third time they've missed spots of the car, and I could STILL see the dust. Not to mention, we even paid an extra $10 to get the mats cleaned too. So, we decided to let the manager know that we are unhappy and are hoping for improvement, such as staff training or etc. So one of the employees directed us to a man with long hair, and at first we complained about the poor job that has been happening recently. Instead of apologizing and saying they will improve, he instead blew up and had a bunch of bad attitude and was completely dismissing our criticism. He was super unprofessional and it honestly shocked us by how he responded. He kept saying that they were closing and that we should just come in tomorrow "for free." Yes we have a membership and technically we can go again "for free" but does that make us less important? If you have terrible management how can you expect the business to function properly? Will NOT be paying for another car wash from them AGAIN. Sucks to see them go down this way.

Edit: we love this business and we totally understand things change and stuff happens. We were even excited to see they opened a location in San Rafael. But the way the manager talked to us and received our feedback was absolutely terrible. Completely took our feedback in a 180 and was very very passive aggressive. Almost seemed like he was throwing fit and super impatient - he didn't even let us finish what we wanted to tell him. When we tried to cancel our memberships straight away, the manager told us "we are closing right now. You can cancel online." Don't you think that's kind of weird? Seemed like he didn't even care the slightest about customer loyalty. We want local businesses like these to thrive, so we wish this business...

I use to work across the street from Matt and Jeff’s, my customers would rave about them all The time about how wonderful they are and how they do amazing car washes.. I have been to their gas station 100 times the prices are always great and the people are always so friendly.. My car has been in need of a good cleaning for a while and since the fires had accumulated a ton of ash so it was time to get a good wash done. I convinced my sister to come with me to Novato because she too wanted to get a good car wash so we could see our cars sparkle again. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT... I am still in shock.. we both even went inside to tel them that they needed to go over the cars again because there were so many areas not even touched, and they still did a horrible job, HOW!?!? We both bought the 120$ what ever package and we were both happy with it cause the guy who helped us knocked the price down a little, we were thrilled because the main focus of this particular wash was interior... talk about a joke.. We could have done a better job our selves for 10$ instead of 120$ When we got our cars back they were still filthy, it was like they did a good job on half the cars but the rest they just didn’t bother, covered in hair and dirt parts of our interior were just thrown to the side.. I didn’t expect them to get every single hair especially on my car cause she was pretty hairy, and I wasn’t paying for the FULL DETAIL SERVICE WHICH IS 400$ but for 120$ I expected a MUCH MUCH better job to be done... come on you pride your self on your service... Well your service is an ABSOLUTE JOKE AND WE WILL NEVER BE BACK...

He recommended their Hi-Tech Interior and Exterior detailing service, and I'm so glad he did. I went in with low expectations, considering the state of my vehicle, but the results were nothing short of miraculous. My car emerged looking brand new, thanks to a special coating that Jeff mentioned could protect the car for up to five years. It's truly magic!

To top it all off, they offer a selection of complimentary car scents. On my girlfriend's recommendation, I chose the "New Car" scent, which added the perfect finishing touch to the experience. It's no wonder all my friends rave about this place!
