My husband had my engagement ring custom made by Arlington Jewelers in 2019. The people are great and very accommodating, but in the three years I've worn this ring, THREE different diamonds have fallen out. For the first smaller one, Arlington replaced it for free. For the second one (a larger side diamond), I went to a different jewel for the replacement because my trust was already gone. And now a third is missing. I do not do heavy lifting or rough work while wearing my ring, and my daily job is at a desk, so every time this has happened I am astonished and sad that more keep falling out. I am so afraid to wear my engagement ring now for fear of the big center stone disappearing too. A ring like this should last for a lifetime at least, and for the money spent, this is unacceptable.
[UPDATE] I brought my ring to a new jeweler to recreate the setting. Upon inspection, ONE OF MY DIAMONDS IS NOT EVEN REAL. I assume this is the one Arlington "replaced for free." I originally gave two stars, but now one....
Read moreThis has been the worst experience in my entire life. I bought my wedding band and engagement ring to be sized, in return I lost 2 diamonds on separate times within a 3 week period. They stated that happened because I sized my ring which caused the diamonds to move. Which is something they should of checked before giving me back the ring since they knew the wedding date was coming up..i lost the diamond a 3rd time, but this time I went to a different jeweler who told that the diamond was only glued on and that's why it kept falling off. Now it's been 7 months since that time and the area where they were to enlarge started to turn black, so when they sized my ring Arlington didn't even use real gold just some cheap metal that changed color..so my $15,000.00 ring looked like a cheap fake ring..I wouldn't recommend them ever again and I advise anyone who used them to have their jewelry checked to make sure it wasnt replaced with fake gold or...

I looked everywhere for a certain bracelet for my son. Finally had to buy it online to find the one he wanted and then it needed to be sized. I just have a hard time paying someone $10 to size something with work that took under 60 seconds total. I don't know many lawyers that get $600 an hour and popping a pin out of a bracelet and taking $10 certainly won't win my business on my next shopping trip.
I conceded that you have to charge something but maybe this guy hasn't done the math...$600 an hour to size a bracelet, I...
