Horrific experience with this Love Hawaii Villas. One word to describe this "company": SCAM.

This is a fraudulent business on top of them having terrible customer service and being extremely disorganized.

A glimpse of what happened: Love Hawaii Villas, specifically Amber Schoneberg, who was unapologetically rude and unhelpful, let us know they would NOT be able to accommodate our confirmed stay 9HRS before our check-in due to them apparently having MAJOR disorganization/scam issues with their "business". So their problems have now become my problem.

We booked our stay months prior and they waited Less than 9 HRS from our check-in date/time to drop this on us via Email and requested we go through extreme hurdles to correct their error.

**To make matters worse: When asked about getting our money back, they had the audacity to tell us they would be keeping our $9K stay because "they do NOT offer refunds"....despite this being their error.

It's obvious they want to fraudulently keep people's money to recoup from their business problems. Well, no wonder Love Hawaii Villas is having problems.

I would never trust this company with my travel plans and definitely not with my money.

Just Save Yourself a Headache and find a different company to book with. This bogus company deserves negative-star ratings.

PS: It's interesting how a family member "McKay Murdock", of the owner of Love Hawaii Villas "Munro Murdock", just gave Love Hawaii Villas a 5-Star AFTER my review to cover up the negative rating. (I have a screenshot of this)

Also "Hannah Marques" with Love Hawaii Villas (director of Housekeeping) ALSO gave a 5-star review AFTER my review to cover up the negative rating. (I have a screenshot of this)

By the way, GOOGLE will be more inclined to frown upon your fake 5-star reviews from your family members and employees than my legit review from a disappointed customer.

Do you think this is not legit because it's not what you want to hear? You're trying to cover up your shady business practice with FAKE Reviews. It's only proving my point what a scam this company is.

You mentioned "Seems a little Shady" - Yes. Love Hawaii Villas is completely shady.

So you're happy taking my $9,000.00, but don't want to keep your end of the contract by accommodating our stay, because you Expected us to Scan and Re-Send Photos of Our Credit Card (Through Email) along with RE-Sending our personal information and Driver's Licenses, sign an additional contract, etc? And all of this less than 9HRS from our check-in??

NO thanks. This SCREAMS FRAUD.

We had already been confirmed for our stay 60 days prior and you dump a Shady-to-do-list before we check-in. Do you understand how INCONVENIENT that is for us, or do you only care about taking our money?

Amazing how the owner of Love Hawaii Villas does Not want to take any ownership for their error and is also completely unapologetic to how their mistake and their money problems had put us in a predicament to find an alternative stay the same day as our check-in.

No wonder their employee, Amber Schoneberg, was also equally rude. There is no code of conduct or ethics with Love Hawaii Villas.

In direct response to your list from your unapologetic reply:

1. Yes there was. (an error on Love Hawaii Villas part), and it's even more disappointing the owner is equally unapologetic.
2. Yes you did - and we have an email stating the refusal for our money back.
3. I believe me stating "I want my money back" on the phone was me requesting a cancellation as I DO NOT want to stay with Love Hawaii Villas after this headache.
4. All Guests ONLY agree to your terms if you can uphold your own contract. Exactly why Love Hawaii Villas is a SCAM. (Nowhere upon booking on your website does it say "9 HRS Before you check-in, you will be inconvenienced by having to find a scanner, send private information and documents and a photo-copy of your CC through an UNSECURED email chain... Love Hawaii villas is a fantastic company. Their team is amazing and their reservation manager Amber is so sweet and puts a lot of dedication into making sure all guests are happy and taken care of. The owner, who is extremely impressive is on the front with his team running around, fixing maintenance issues in the early hours of the morning and making sure extra beds are accommodated at last minute if need be. They truly have such a warm and honest feel about them... You can just feel it when they talk to you on the phone, check in with you via email and even with the awesome gift baskets they leave when you check in.

With that being said... Ko Olina is my favorite place now. I loved the exclusivity of the private lagoons and taking a morning stroll through the lagoons everyday was so relaxing. Pictures don't do the beach villas Justice or the beach and property. The views from the Villa's... WOW!!! I could sit out on the patio with an ocean view like that every day and die happy.

I just feel like booking through hotels is so not worth it anymore. Anytime I'm coming into Oahu, working with love Hawaii is my go to!

I've been twice in the last three years and both times have been accommodated by the love Hawaii team....

Love Hawaii Villas-what a super place to stay. We came in right when the 14 day restrictions were lifting, with a COVID negative test. They are very responsive to your needs, but there is no housekeeping services within your own condo. They provide you with the basics and you go from there. Easy check in- I had someone call us on our way and was waiting for us when we drove up—-they helped us up and helped us get parked an oriented. Everything was very clean and responsive to the need for Restrictions. No restaurants on this property, but November 1 the Aulani (next door) was opening up soon. Across the street was a great restaurant right on the golf course. Everything about this stay was classy and upscale. Great towels for the pool. The family pool has personal spaces so that you can more easily stay restricted. Parking was easy-but make sure you have a parking which is under your tower, otherwise you will be walking a great deal. There is a distinction between the staff of the Love Hawaii Villas vs. the staff on property, but they coordinate well. All staff have been so helpful and kind.
