Supa Thai was recommended to us so while out in Kapolei area we decided to check it out for dinner.

Conveniently located in the shopping plaza, this cozy spot has about 7 tables inside and a couple tables outside for seating. We got a seat right away but things picked up quick and there was a line for both pick up orders as well as those looking to dine in. You could tell this was a popular Thai spot in Kapolei.

We ordered summer rolls for appetizer. Two rolls cut up in to four small pieces served with their homemade peanut sauce. Although it tastes good, at $13 and for the portion size, it's not worth the price point.

We ordered the Pad Ki Mao Basil noodles. The noodles were not separated enough and were boiled in clumps so when it came out the middle stuck noodles were not cooked all the way which made noodles a bit more chewy than normal and also did not get much of the seasoning.

We did order the papaya salad which was a great salad to our meal! Finely sliced unruled papaya with dressing and slices of tomatoes, this made for a nice complimented side dish with the meal.

We ordered the yellow and mussuman curry! Although the pad ki Mao wasn't a big hit for us, both curries were delicious. Well seasoned with adequate amounts of toppings, and at medium spice level, it definitely had a decent kick to it. I would highly recommend any of their curry dishes to try out.

Lots of parking located in the plaza parking lot but do expect a wait especially if you come at peak times. The servers were working really hard but could tell they were understaffed that day so please be understanding...

The day was November 11th. Windy and cold, we looked for a restaurant to eat at. Settling for a sub chain next door, disgruntled of course, we got out of the car. Then out of the corner of my eye I spotted a small restaurant. Supa Thai. We loved Thai food so we decided to switch there instead. After ordering food to go (yellow curry etc.) we waited for our order. Last minute we asked them if we could eat at the table outside instead. They obliged, despite them getting ready to close up, eager to get started we sat down outside. After about 15 or so minutes our starter was ready. Crunchy spring rolls. Each roll was delicately wrapped, lightly dipped in sauce, chef's kiss. Then came our soup. Despite us switching around etc. the soup was still very hot and tangy, might I add all the products felt as fresh as if they came from the dawn of time. Lastly our yellow curry and chicken came. Each bite was more and.more heavenly than the last. Light and delicious, the yellow curry was nice and creamy. Not to mention the flavoring in the chicken. All throughout this the staff were ever so kind and welcoming. This restaurant is like the parting of the red sea or whatever that story was. The eye of a hurricane. The most beautiful symphony of food hospitality and 20% tips.

TlDR: Good food, great staff, and even better tasting...

Nothing really bad to say about this place, they're brand new, seems to be family owned, overall good experience.

Ordered online which is always a positive, too bad my lazy butt couldn't get delivery, but it's not too far from my location..

Disclaimer: not sure if online just guesstimates the completion time, but the guesstimate was wrong by about approximately 10 mins. So the less than 5 star was for this reason, but, again, it could have just been online Guesstimation.

Got there right before pick up time, had to wait, not a huge deal for a new place working out the kinks, but it was pretty slow, there were two other guys there, who got their food almost at the same time mine was done.

Food was really good, the curries were creamier than other places, so if your preference is more coconut milk, come here, I enjoyed my order.

The only other issue was the peanuts in one of the curry dishes, but we aren't sure if this is a preference thing, but we prefer them to be softer.

So again, if you prefer creamy, coconutty, and more aldente peanuts, come here. Everything else was good, stir fry was good, sticky rice, and Thai tea. All delicious otherwise.

Oh side note, I like how they actually labeled the spicier curry, a lot of places don't label anything. So that was a...

Simply stated, this place is an absolute gem. I take thai food very seriously, and I have had my fair share of posers. This place is as authentic as it gets, and I will highly recommend it to any traveler of local to the area. When we approached the restaurant, I tried to judge a book by its cover, but im so thankful i gave it a shot. Without a doubt, this is easily some of the best Thai food on the Island and with really great service! We had a new waitress today who was training but she really knew her stuff. She was able to get us curries without fish sauce and meat and helped us customize the menu to suit our vegetarian needs. The restaurant does have a vegan selection and their spice levels go really high! It was amazing tasting such spicy foods after what we had become accustomed to on this trip! Overall, I would highly suggest to place to anyone staying in the resorts in Ko Olina and beyond. It was absolutely incredible!
