EDIT: Since Jayson wants to try and make his points. Saying you're running a BIT late is 10-15 min. not almost a whole hour. You told my boyfriend he could get drinks or snacks, he respectfully told you okay. You offered for him to go eat lunch, after I had asked him if he wanted me to come by and bring him something. ONLY because it's been over an hour into the appointment and nothing had been done yet. The numbing cream needed to be applied 30-90 min before the appointment and lasts typically around 3-4 hours. You were gonna start tattooing at 2, sooo with the amount of time you spent doing everything else besides the tattoo it would've worn off by then. PRIOR to the appointment my boyfriend had already sent you the reference photo which you didn't have ready, he also explained to you what he wanted , a Mexican revolutionary with the Mexican flag in the back. You began adding your own ideas & things he didn't ask for each time you brought back the drawing. Which of course took long. You also assumed it would be a full sleeve tattoo, which you needed to go back and fix again. Finally my boyfriend was able to agree on what you brought back. He never asked you if you could finish his tattoo in 3 hours. That's just ridiculous, no one would ask or even expect that, you're hilarious. He brought up needing to pick up our son because of the time. He wasn't planning on being there for 12 hours. Nor did you discuss the fact that you "only book one client a day" prior to the appointment or during the booking process. That's on you. Of course you could have done sessions for the tattoo. I've seen it. he's seen it, tattoo artists do it. After my boyfriend explained he'd need to reschedule because he was only planning on leaving the shop by 5 or 530 the latest. FOR THE SESSION, you then told my boyfriend he could leave to get our son and come back? Yeah that's crazy, after spending 4 hours in your shop with nothing to show for except a stencil on his arm, to leave aiea, drive to makaha then back to aiea? YOUR expectations for "YOUR" time when you've wasted a clients time is crazy. After he told you he'd need to reschedule you start throwing around an attitude saying it was a waste of putting the stencil on and telling him what you'd have to charge him for, you explained you charge $150 an hour. Again, you can say your time starts when you start designing, which is understandable but you came back multiple times with ideas and drawings my boyfriend hadn't asked for. Saying my boyfriend was giving a face when he kept asking you what you're charging him for and you saying your time. HE asked how you came up with that price when there was only a stencil and how you arrived LATE, didn't have a stencil til 2 and you were quiet. Of course if you're QUIET when someone's asking for your breakdown that you're charging them for anyone would give a face? And instead of you replying to him, your coworkers have to chime in. Saying a client is giving you a face like they're calling you out. when YOU get up trying to act all big saying SO WHAT SO WHAT? who was calling who out? HAHA you're a joke who can't take accountability, can't apologize and continue to make excuses. AGAIN. no one expected a forearm portrait to be done in 3 hours you're insane!! Read moreDon’t go to JASON
Jason did DM me back telling me he’ll be a bit late. Jason was 50 minutes late to be exact. Then tells me I can go buy drinks or snacks, why would I do that if I’m here for my 10:30am appointment I ate and drank already I’m ready to get my tattoo going. But I responded with OK respectfully like anyone would.
Finally, he started doing his job around 12:30 drawing and talking to me about my tattoo. I then ASKED if it’s OK for my girlfriend to drop me off food “ mind you my appointment is at 10:30 am” in a bit he says that’s fine then tells me just go eat lunch now and I can do the stencil I went to lunch for 25 minutes came back he was still not done. I don’t know where this guy says I wanted “design to be custom and detailed (realism)” I just wanted a Mexican revolution leader with a Mexican flag waving above him, Jason then starts making his own, trying to do my whole forearm with a background behind the guy and saying he can’t do the Mexican flag it’s too small, but eventually we agreed on some design he made up that had a whole ton of background with sun and clouds and cactuses and desert.
Once the stencil was on I asked is it gonna be a couple sessions? He then says no I’m gonna finish this today. Me thinking I wasn’t planning to be here 12 hours. Because he said he could finish by 10 o’clock PM, I then tell him I have to pick up my son at 5:30 I remind him. My appointment was at 10:30am and it’s about to be 2 PM. Then he starts telling me he could’ve have other clients and that he has to charge me for his time “40 min worth of him, actually working with me about my tattoo. I obviously wasn’t thinking he could finish that tattoo in three hours. That’s why I asked if I was gonna take sessions. And I wasn’t gonna pick up my son to drive all the way to MAKAHA to drop him off to drive all the way back to AIEA LIKE I HAD MY APPOINTMENT AT “10:30AM”. I was gonna reschedule, but he wanted to charge me $300 for 2 hours that was actually 40 minutes worth of him working with me. Mind you I already payed Jason $200 three weeks ago to schedule this appointment. I wasn’t planning on canceling, but I also wasn’t planning on my tattoo to start four hours late. And him barely working with me. While he was, filling out a receipt he says I had a face which who wouldn’t have a face when you’re about to charge me $300 for waiting on the tattoo artist show up almost an hour late, then proceeds to eat lunch, and then has absolutely nothing of my tattoo and then starts talking to me about it 3 hours after my appointment. Then he stood up yelling, SO WHAT ,SO WHAT ,because his client had a face I don’t know how this guy can own a business that works with people lol. JASON is very unprofessional, and doesn’t take accountability for his unprofessional actions. Instead, he likes to be right when he’s wrong and just get’s aggressive like a child when he’s wrong lol this...
Read moreHighly recommend seeing Tia if you’re into the type of tattoo style she does! I had a series of bad tattoos that needed covering (I did go through laser treatments, also at slick vision which did greatly improve the coverup process. If you can do it, I highly recommend). I honestly didn’t think much going into my sessions with Tia (since I knew they were coverups and I’d be starting with a botched slate). However, she covered the old work up so well. Even I can’t really remember or see what was there before, that’s how well she did! She gave me entirely new pieces and I finally feel confident again. Some other super great points about Tia/Slick Vision:
Highly recommend slick vision and Tia! I’m definitely going to back and getting more work done in the...
