If you haven’t been to Yum Yum Pho yet, stop what you’re doing and GO. This place isn’t just one of the best Vietnamese spots around; it’s a flavor-packed paradise that will blow your mind! Every time I go, it’s bustling with people, and yes, there’s often a line, but trust me, it’s worth every second of the wait. The space may be cozy, but the food? It’s an explosion of taste that more than makes up for it.
I always come here, and the combination pho is my absolute go-to. The broth? Oh my goodness, it’s nothing short of liquid gold. Every spoonful is an incredible burst of rich, savory, perfectly seasoned goodness. You can taste the love and care that goes into every bowl. And don’t even get me started on the BBQ pork sandwich; it’s a masterpiece, right? The pork is tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled, tucked into a fresh, crispy baguette.
On top of all this, the prices are unbelievably affordable. You’re getting top-tier, crave-worthy Vietnamese cuisine without breaking the bank. Yum Yum Pho is, hands down, a must-visit spot. If you’re craving excellent Vietnamese food, look no further. This place...
Read moreThis was a very disappointing experience. The lady who serviced us was not very friendly but since we were hungry and already there, we decided to order. My friend who bought the tendon pho said the tendon was so tough that it was inedible. She refused to pay for the pho. My friend and I both prefer the drip Vietnamese coffee, not the premixed. The lady told us that they didn't have the drip, but I wanted the coffee so I took a chance. It was awful. Very bitter and had an acidic aftertaste. I took 3 sips and that's all I could handle. My friend walked out and went to another Pho shop nearby. When I paid for my meal, I told the lady that the coffee was not good. She just told me, "Next time, don't order it." I wanted to tell her that I was not going to pay for the coffee since I left the full cup minus 3 sips. But I did feel a bit bad that we weren't paying for a full pho bowl so I paid for it. On the plus side, my beef pho bowl was ok. But bottom line, my friend and I won't be...
Read moreThis hidden gem has delicious food. I ordered the beef stew and it was thick and flavorful. It was loaded with meat, tendon, carrots and fresh chopped herbs. The owner was careful to explain that there was beef tendon in the recipe, not just chunks of meat. To me that meant a healthier, richer stew made by a person who cares about meeting guest expectations. The beef stew comes with your choice of noodles, rice or banh mi.
My dining partner ordered the bbq pork chop, which he described and juicy and nicely seasoned. His meal came with rice and a small salad.
The service was pleasant, helpful and efficient. The server checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything.
Of course we'll be back.
