Store Safety Update As we navigate this constantly changing environment, the health and safety of our employees and our customers continues to be our top priority. The entire ALDI team is working around the clock to keep our stores clean and stocked. We are installing protective barriers at checkout and making gloves and masks available to associates who would like them. We have added social distancing signage across all stores and increased the frequency of cart cleaning. As part of our continued efforts to ensure the well-being of our employees and customers, we are introducing additional safety measures in our stores. New Store Occupancy Limits:
Effective Thursday, April 9th, we will limit the number of people inside our stores to approximately five customers per 1,000 square feet.
To be certain these limits are followed, we will have team members stationed outside each store cleaning carts and keeping track of customers as they enter and exit . We will admit shoppers into the store one at a time. We may enforce a brief delay between customers to allow for adequate space between customers as they enter.
We will be allowing any medical professionals, with identification, immediate access to the front of any lines that may form outside our stores.
If a line forms outside our store, we kindly ask our customers to stand at least six feet away from the person in front of them and maintain that safe distance throughout their entire shopping experience. Our team members will help remind shoppers of this as well.
We kindly ask customers to limit their shopping to one person per family. We recognize that may not be possible in certain circumstances and will make exceptions for any customer who needs to shop with children, or assist a vulnerable shopper.
Temporary One-Way Aisles: Inside the store, we will be rolling out one-way aisles to better manage the flow of traffic and help our customers maintain social distance from each other and our team members. In-store signage will direct shoppers through the store.
Temperature Checks: Over the course of this week, we will begin taking the temperatures of our store and warehouse employees. In addition, we will have them answer a few basic health screening questions before reporting to work. Any employee with a fever of 100.0 or higher will be sent home. Employees must be free of all symptoms for at least 72 hours before returning to work.
Customers can find additional information about the safety and hygiene measures we've put in place in recent weeks on our website. We want to thank our customers for their continued support while we work together to keep...

As far as take and bake pizzas go, it was my favorite. Jump ahead a few years to my high school days when my Mom, in an effort to reduce grocery costs pointed out that Aldi had a similar pizza for less money. I of course scoffed at the idea of getting pizza from a discount grocery store as opposed to my beloved Sam’s Club. When my Mom finally got me to try it I honestly couldn’t tell the difference. Same taste, less cost. I guess mother knew best in this case.
At the present, Mama Cozzi Pizzas at Aldi are a whopping 16” and range in price from $5.00-6.50 depending on toppings. I can get either 8 humongous pieces or 16 smaller pieces out of this 16” pie. I’m a cheese pizza kind of guy when it comes to toppings and this one doesn’t disappoint by offering 5 different types (Mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan, Monterey Jack, and Romano). Although I favor pan style pizza, this thin crust pizza is flavorful and chewy enough to satisfy my high pizza standards. Unlike a lot of other frozen pizza brands, this pizza has enough cheese on it already, so I don’t have to add any of my own. I may never know if it is truly the same pizza sold at Sam’s Club, but regardless this pizza is my favorite non restaurant based pizza and is Doughboy Approved....
Read moreI have only been to Aldi a handful of times, but I like it so far. From what I know, they are a good company, so I don’t mind patronizing them. Aldi stores are billed as being cheaper than other grocery stores, however I find the prices to vary on all of their products. If you know your prices, you can go to Aldi and focus on purchasing items that are better deals than elsewhere – and there are plenty!
Aldi’s snacks and charcuterie are my favorite things to browse. They have a fantastic variety with excellent prices for snacks – including their trail mixes, chips, and crackers. The charcuterie selections are excellent – a lot of fun cheeses and meats, my favorite of which might be their pre-assembled (3 meats included) Italian charcuterie containers for under $5. This one is perfect to take to a picnic or a party to accompany your cheese board!
Aldi’s produce is just okay, as the selection is not always there. The quality and prices are fair. I do appreciate some of their meat prices – the whole chickens are a great price, but other meats are the same as your average grocery store.
Aldi is worth a trip every now and then and is a fun place to browse. Make sure you bring a quarter for a cart, or as I prefer to do, bring a large reusable grocery bag for your shopping. You also need to either purchase reusable bags there or...
