Finally had the chance to stop by this place after all these years. They don't serve dinner so it's always hard to make it.

The place has an old school kind of charm to it inside. Service was prompt and cordial.

The food was okay. I was expecting a level above generic breakfast food joint like Denny's. It's on the same level with a little more variety to it. After having some really good chicken & waffles at other breakfast diners, I was disappointed. I was served some chicken nugget looking things with waffles. Other places had nice chicken in batter and you could tell it was made in house.

I was surprised they served wine and other adult beverages for breakfast.

If you're looking for comfort food for breakfast, this is worth trying. The atmosphere is also good for family and friends gatherings. But probably not somewhere for a lot of little kids or if you're group plans to be loud. There were a lot more older looking clients there that don't look like the type to appreciate a lot of noise. Somehow I seem to forget why we stopped coming here. Once was a super great, inviting place with good food and attentive staff has turned into a cold dining experience. The food was a bit overpriced, the server took order, dropped food off and then never checked on us for refills or follow up until the check drop off. Food was bland and bitter. 2 juices and 2 meals over $50. Dining room was just average in amount of customers and could visually see server leaning and standing, just not coming close enough to check on refills. If food was top notch, people would be packing this place, but sadly over the last 7+ years, "our on a whim", "let's give it another go" chances have run out. I am quickly reminded why we don't come here often. It's a shame. It's truly sad because the location and amount of potential customers to that area could really make the it the go-to breakfast/brunch spot, but over time many must've also came to the same conclusion and...

This used to be the go to resturant in the area for an amazing breakfast. Guessing they sold as none of the staff that had been here for years are here. The food was way below the standard. My sausage gravy was made with hamburger not sausage the biscuit were burnt the eggs were over cooked and looked awful. This was the last meal I will ever eat here and it has been a family tradition for 40 yrs. To the new owners you failed !!!! Lost my entire family's buisness.
