Salon Amore — Local services in Oak Grove

Salon Amore, the new shop looks AMAZING! GREAT JOB! As always my haircut with Michelle was amazing & EXACTLY what I asked for! Didn't have time for color today so that's happening next week! This time I'm going for something more trending & fun! My dark roots & a grey (salt & pepper) look on the top & sides. (I'll attach a photo if possible) Michelle is definitely the ONLY Stylist that I trust to touch my hair! I have very fine hair & it's very thin on top & she's the ONLY one that's ever cut my hair & when she's done it looks like I have a full head on hair on the top instead of me looking in the mirror & seeing my scalp, no matter what I did, how I tried to style it, it didn't matter until the 1st time Michelle cut my hair it was amazing! I went home, looked in the mirror & cried for almost an hour, because I knew I wasn't going to have to worry about strangers asking me if I was still on Chemo or was I done & my hair was just now growing back in? Michelle has boosted my self esteem so I'm not only able to leave my home now, but I'm "PROUD" to, because I LOVE how my hair looks & it also encourages me to want to style it, put on makeup & go out with my Husband or go have fun with my Grandkid's! So, "THANK YOU, MICHELLE YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH YOU'VE IMPROVED MY LIFE, NOT ONLY FOR MYSELF, BUT FOR MY HUSBAND, FAMILY & MY 8 GRANDKID'S! I've walked into this salon 3 times. The first time I was able to get in right away for a cut and loved it. The stylist was personable and did a great job on my hair. The other 2 times they couldn't take me as a walk in. The first time I understood, as all if their seats were taken up at the time but had no one waiting. The 3rd time I walk in and ask for a quick trim and they said they couldn't get me in tonight but could schedule something. There was no one in the chairs and no one waiting. One of the stylists was sitting, looking at her phone. Their facebook says that they have a stylist available for walk-ins Monday through Friday. I was really disappointed since I had such a great experience the first time I went in. I can't see their schedule but feel that if there is no one waiting or in the chairs then they could have fit in a quick trim. I won't attempt to go...

Been meaning to post this for a few weeks. Erica did a wonderful job highlighting my very fine hair! She has a talent with color. The cut was great too, I am so happy with it. She really listened to what it wanted and was very patient. On top of that, she got me in very last minute on a Friday afternoon.
