We had a snow storm 3 days ago. All other Walgreens in the area have opened back up. I have prescriptions at this Pharmacy that are non transferable. They were due to be picked up Monday. Now it's Tuesday, this store is closed, I am running out of medicine and I don't know what to do. Why are the other Walgreens in the area open but this one?

Called in again today. Whomever the pharmacist is who is working today is the one who refuses to help or talk to me. Making me wait til Monday when the main pharmacist is in, just to check on my prescriptions to see if they are in stock and what day they can be picked up. Hopefully they are in stock Monday and I don't run out waiting days for the shipment to come in.
Last time I tried to speak to him, very politely, he kept talking over me and refused to help me. Speaking of the last time I spoke to him, when he did finally look at my medications, he wouldn't help me get them filled or even tell me if the medication was in stock, let alone would he order it for me if it wasn't. When I called today and it was this pharmacist who answered, after I told him my name and that I needed to speak to the main pharmacist or whomever the pharmacist was who was currently there, he once again sounded very manic and discombobulated and kept repeating " ** (main pharmacist name I won't use name to be respectful) will be here on Monday" and wouldn't let me speak to ask him if Walgreens is even open Monday, as it is a holiday (Columbus/Id. Peoples day). He finally answered me and said that Walgreens is open Monday. But he didn't sound sure at all so Walgreens may not even be open Monday.....
So I guess I will try again Monday. I have several medications that are ready for pick up that i am going to wait til Monday to get. I am worried that this pharmacist will mess up the prescriptions that are already ready to pick up
I am just concerned because of medication safety if errors are made at the Pharmacy.
Medication safely is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT and the main reason for these reviews
Edited 01/03/2022 Once again today, I was on hold for over half an hour between 2 phone calls. Both times when it got to be my turn, according to the automated system, it was like someone had picked up my line and then hung up on me. How is someone supposed to get their medication, when it won't go through on the app, and no one will answer the phone to help you?

I will also be contacting the Board Of Pharmacy and I will be filing complaints properly and correctly.
I was told by the pharmacist on Wednesday that my medication was ordered and would EASILY be in stock by today. I called today to pick up my prescription, I need it today, I was told it was in stock and it would be ready today. Then, I was asked if I could wait 2 MORE DAYS on it, I said today and I was told that it was being filled. Then, I get a call back from Walgreens, saying that they DON'T have the medication in stock, and that they DON'T EVEN KNOW IF IT CAN BE ORDERED OR WHEN IT WILL GET IN. Honestly, it seemed like they were pushing me off and trying to get me out of the way, and that they are saying they are out of stock now just so they don't have to fill my prescription. I think I was lied to, and after I told the pharmacist this it seemed like that's what was going on.

Once again, I was told my medication would be ordered, and it was not. I was told it will take at least 2 more days to get it in stock. I tried calling the 2 different Walgreens on 7 HWY in Blue Springs Missouri. Both told me that their Pharmacies aren't any better, and that there is nothing I can do to help change the situation
It's very difficult to get through to the Pharmacy on the phone. I'm on hold 15 minutes, then it sounded like someone went to press to send me to hold again and accidentally hung up on my call. I'm over 10 minutes in on my 2nd call in a row, says no callers ahead of me. That is main reason I gave 1 star. Also, Pharmacy somehow keeps...
Read moreI have gone there and picked up items listed as "special" with a discounted price and go to the checkout to be given a lame excuse why they "special" price is no good for me. This has happened several times through the years. Walgreens was cited on this practice and it was put on the local news of what they were doing too. I thought it had ended finally but I stopped in to see if they had an item for my bathroom, they did and it was on special, about $50 which seemed a bit high but it was offered at half price. At check out they said that was only for the second item purchased, (the tag said nothing about a 2nd purchase item) but even worse, they charged twice what the shelf price stated. I handed it back to them. Their pharmacy was requested to give me a sample drug, by my doctor, free from the manufacturer..... they argued that they couldn't give it to me since I'm on Medicare and Medicare won't pay for it.... what part of free sample don't they understand, Medicare isn't even involved.... I'll never darken their doors again..... I went next door to Walmart and they took care of the Rx with no problem, plus they told me that this wasn't uncommon at all with Walgreens and their customers give up and bring their Rx over to Walmart to get them filled... Stars?? "0" isn't...
Read moreThe worst experience I have ever had. I have an 18 month old with a 103 degree fever in the car. I ask if it’s done, they say 10-15 minutes. They announce it’s done over the intercom. I go to the window. Same woman asks me why I’m there. Then she tells me to get behind the 5 people in line. I wait while she bullshits about dog treats, and everything else. Takes 15 minutes to get through three people. Another woman is told hers isn’t ready. Then she is called ahead of me when it is ready. Finally I get up there and pay. Payment goes through and the woman just walks off. Disappears for several minutes. Meanwhile my wife is texting me the baby is going nuts in the car. Nothing. Hands me the bag. Starts talking to some other customer. Never addresses me.
Will never ever...
