I would recommend to all people to never use this salon. This is by far the worst business interaction I have ever had with a local business on this Island. The owner completely mishandled this situation not to mention extremely poor customer service and I professionalism. That alone gets many thumbs down and a very large spread the word.
I booked bridal hair with this salon the minute it reopened under the governed phase per Covid-19. In my phone call, I verified the bridal hair expense of $150 which includes a consultation and practice hair. Which was consistent with the pricing in the website for this service. I booked my consultation for 8/29 and bridal hair for 10/10 even though my wedding was a few months out. I might add that my hair request was simple and informal for a very small backyard wedding.
In late July, I happened to be looking on their website for other services like nails and hair coloring and happened to notice that the bridal hair had DOUBLED in price. Not just an increase but doubled from $150 to $300. So I called to inquire. Got hung up on twice by reception due to poor signal. Finally got through and left a message as to my concern. And NO ONE called me back. I called back again two days later on 7/31 and asked to speak to the owner. Who told me that my previously quoted priced that I booked my appointments for would not be honored unless I had prepaid already which wasnāt possible since my appointment wasnāt even until August and that I would have to pay the doubled price. Even though I booked my appointments under a different quoted price.
The part that makes me the most upset is that no one called to tell me. Had I not discovered this on my own, I would have showed up on 8/29 and found out and would have not been enough time to schedule my wedding day bridal hair with another salon abs I would have been forced to pay the doubled price. This is a shady and dishonest way to do business. They should have called me the minute they DOUBLED their prices. To of given me the chance to make a choice and choose a different salon in enough time to book for my wedding day.
I do t mind an increase in prices because I support the growth of our community and local businesses but double the price? I would have been blindsided with this. And true honor and professionalism would have honored the quoted price since I had already scheduled both appointments under that price.
Shady! Unprofessional! Careless! Dishonest!
I kept my appointment until I can find another salon. Shocker that they are all booked already. I wasnāt happy about keeping the appointment but had no choice and told them I would call them back if I decided to cancel.
They called me today 8/14 to ask me if they could reschedule my appointment. I said no because I scheduled it long ago on purpose for the time I needed it to be. And then the owner said she was just going to cancel it anyways because she wasnāt feeling comfortable with our vibe? Are you kidding me right now? After what happened and now you want to reschedule my appointment and now cancel it because my vibe is telling you Iām frustrated? I gave this lady this same feedback and then hung up.
I have no more words. I truly canāt believe it! Horrible horrible horrible!!!!!!!
I very rarely ever complain about a business or even bad service. But I will be spreading the word about my experience with this salon. Of which I never used before and certainly will never use in the future!

My gosh she was full of so many ideas and was so excited to do my hair! A week later I came in and she went straight to work. We were almost done when she realized my hair was a bit copper. I was extremely happy, but she was not. She knew my hair would fade and I would not like it after a few washes. So she toned it, and toned it, and worked so hard on my hair. She knew if she dyed it anymore, my hair would be so damaged, she kept it nice and healthy. She did what was best for my hair and did not harm it at all.She was honest the entire time, she didn't build me up with fake promises like some stylist do, she seemed very sure of her work which made me feel confident. I can tell this girl has awesome work ethic and integrity. She finally finished around 4 hours later and my hair was amazing. I felt/feel like my hair is so beautiful! She gave me a nice ombre of brown, light brown, and a hint of a beautiful maroon. It all blends so nicely and not uneven.I am going lighter and lighter soon. I could tell her thank you a million times over and over again for giving me confidence again and bringing life to my hair. It may sound cheesy but it changed my life. Then, as soon as you calmly express your dissatisfaction, the owner will belittle and disagree with your concerns. I spent $355 and 5.5hrs a the salon, with no apology for having to reschedule my day and arrange for someone else to pick up my kid at school. I was wanting a much brighter look than my golden hair. I left seeing a very slight difference. The owner says its "night and day," no its not. Yes it was pretty (it wasn't awful to start with), but I was expecting so much more for the time and price. I just moved here, I was so excited to have my hair professionally colored and cut, especially since I am a hairstylist whom hasn't had anyone else color/cut my hair in over 4 years! I was offered a clarification shampoo and toning service, yet I know this wouldn't brighten it, only change the tone. I requested some more highlights or a refund/partial refund. I was told I had enough highlights. I was then told I should just move on and I was no longer fit for the salon! Then I was hung up on. I have never been treated this way nor would I ever treat a client like this! I was so upset and in tears. I called back, simply because I was so disturbed with the treatment, I asked to speak with Wendi, and once again she was unwilling to understand my point of view. I decided to take the high road and just call it a 'wash', since I wasn't going to accomplish anything with her or the salon. Then they blocked me from the salon Instagram page, I can't even view the post of my own hair! LOL So immature! The manner in which this was handled was really disappointing. I was calm, polite, and coming from a position of understanding, yet they simply just shut me down.
