Sweet Rice is going on my "Favorites" list!! This is the Place to Impress your date with delectable Thai food! Clean , bright atmosphere with delightful modern decor. Outdoor balcony seating with ocean views 😎. Our server wore a constant friendly smile and was extremely attentive to our needs, drinks and continued checking on how well we were doing. The appetizer we chose was calamari. It came to our table Hot and smelling amazing, served in a porcelain boat, with a tasty dipping sauce. The calamari was very fresh tasting and so tender, tempura battered done just right. No pictures because it was soo good it was gone! Same with our lunches😁. Pad Kee Mao entree and Chicken over rice with garlic green beans. Freshly prepared food and aromas that delight all the senses. My mouth was so happy with all the delicious and surprising flavors. I enjoyed getting the chance to give my tastebuds such a great experience. It is a rare occasion to find Very Pleasing, Satisfying, Fresh Prepared, and Flavorful Meals. Glad to have experienced this food, this restaurant. Highly recomend💯 I will be returning here often. I am Thankful for a Five Star Dinning Experience here at Sweet Rice. Well Done to the Chef ... If you like being ignored, a mediocre meal, and bad service; this is your place! Don't come here unless you enjoy waiting around on service. You could order after being seated and still wait 45 minutes for your meal. Need service? Be prepared to be put into the penalty box and ignored list of you have to flag someone down for more water. It will take another 15 minutes for water too. Like bland Thai? This place is for you! There is literally not much good I can say about this place in the six visits I have had over six years. Service has always ducked, the portion sizes are just okay, you may need a midnight snack. Don't worry about doggy bags, none are ever needed. Need your check? Be prepared to wait another 15 minutes. In a hurry? This is not your place! I wanted to like this place. 1-2-3 or Jeda (RIP) are better, even if 1-2-3 has inconsistent meal...

I've had masumam curry in many Thai restaurants but the way Sweet Rice makes it is the best I've ever had. I'm serious. It's really smooth, creamy, smokey, browned fatty meat, and perfectly spiced. It was deliiiicious!

We ate there for the first time recently and the waiter admitted to totally forgetting to put in our order. So our food didn't come out for like 40 minutes. However they comped our entire meal, including drinks (which I was not expecting!) and were extremely apologetic. Mistakes happen, it was a busy nice, and waiting tables requires tremendous multi-tasking. They know how to rectify a mistake and still give customers a great experience. I thought that was very generous of them (most restaurants would just comp the appetizer and drinks). Guess it was my lucky day! This restaurant is deserving of a five star review for kind staff and outstanding food....
