**Review of Popsies Ice Cream** I recently decided to visit Popsies Ice Cream after stumbling upon a rather snarky negative review that criticized the shop for not giving away free treats. Intrigued by the small-town charm and curious about the backlash, I went in with an open mind—and I’m so glad I did! As soon as I stepped inside, I was enveloped by a delightful, sweet aroma that instantly transported me back to my childhood. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to indulge in some delicious ice cream. I was warmly greeted by a kind young lady whose vibrant smile lit up the shop. She was not only friendly but also genuinely enthusiastic about sharing the history of Popsies. As she offered me endless samples of their perfectly crafted and unique ice cream flavors, I felt like I was in ice cream heaven. It was fascinating to learn that some flavors celebrated in other reviews might not always be available, but I found plenty of fun and exciting choices to try. I ultimately settled on the black cherry and latte chip, which she beautifully scooped side by side into a crisp waffle cone. The combination was exquisite, each bite offering a delightful burst of flavor. To top off my visit, I discovered strawberry crème hard candies—one of my childhood favorites! It was a delightful surprise that added to the nostalgia of my experience. I highly recommend Popsies Ice Cream for anyone looking for a sweet treat. They even have blue bubblegum flavor for those who want a classic! The warmth of the staff, the unique flavors, and the nostalgic atmosphere make this little shop a gem in the heart of town.

Cute place BUT beware that it is not accessible. If you are in a chair, scooter, crutches etc it will be very difficult to enter this historic building due to the step up & tiny door. The shop is adorable but not too much inventory. There's candy local fudge, popcorn and local ice cream. The candy is mostly chocolate. I'm a sour/ gummy candy fiend. I had a scoop of marion berry sorbet and fell in love. Will be back for another scoop soon.

Absolutely charming, the store and the staff. I took my 8 year old here and wish I had found it sooner! Nestled in Down town oak harbor you almost can miss it if you weren't looking for it. I would recommend this candy shop to all my family and friends! And yes, the candy is extra yum!

Typically, I enjoy this ice cream shop. Unfortunately, today wasn't one of those times. I have raved about the mango chili ice cream they serve and purchased a scoop today. When I tried it, it was weird texture and tasted different. When I went back to ask about it, the cashier with the red hair and glasses informed me that it was in fact different because it was their vegan version. When I told her I didn't like it and asked for a different ice cream (again...just one scoop), she told me she would charge me again. I told her no thank you and threw it away. Since it was the stores fault for improperly labeling their ice cream, I thought it was only right to give me another scoop. This was poor customer service on their part, and while I still enjoy their ice cream, labeling your flavors correctly will save you and the...

I don’t consider myself a kettle corn connoisseur but I’ve had enough to know what’s good and what’s just edible (because let’s be real, is there such thing as bad kettle corn?). And hands (and likely at least one artery) down it’s one of the best I’ve ever had.

This shop also is well stocked in all your brand-name favorites along with a hefty selection of incredible artisanal fudges, chocolates, caramels and anything else your heart desires.

It was a blessing and a curse that I am an adult with my own money and can live out my childhood dream of walking into a candy shop and have the ability to buy anything I wanted. That’s exactly what I did and I don’t regret a single decision. Everything was amazing, the young man behind the counter was super polite and kind. I can’t wait for my next visit so I can have more...
