IF YOU HAVE A LARGE PARTY YOUR CAR WILL GET TOWED. ITS A SETUP. H & H Towing informed us during our stay that they have a contract with the home owner to tow any car that is not parked in a driveway. We stayed at one of their rentals -an 8 bedroom home. There is only 1 short driveway that can fit 4 cars max and that’s with 2 cars hanging in the street. As we checked in they told us at the security gate that parking is at your own risk but gave us a parking permit to park on the street just outside of the driveway due to the size of the house and our party. There were 7 guests, each with their own car. We had to park 3 cars on the street and all parked in one row. We walked outside just after midnight to take a walk and noticed the car in the middle of ours was gone. Not the front car, not the back car, but the car in the middle—-this car was a corvette. We asked at the front gate where our car could be. The security at the gate told us she didn’t know and that it could have been towed. We asked why would the car have been towed when she herself told us that we wouldn’t have enough parking and to park just outside of the house and to our permit in the window. We called the police, they told us H&H Towing had towed the car. We went back and forth with them about the legitimacy of them towing our vehicle which is when they told us they have a contract with the home owner to tow any all cars at their leisure. They allowed us to pick up the car 5 minutes later for $175 (would have been $125 if we waited until 9am the next day). Thankfully no damage was done to the car. However all of us vowed to steer clear of this company in the future given their obvious collaboration with a tow truck company (probably for a kickback) to get their guests vehicles towed.
Note: the property we rented from in Sonoma Resorts is in Orlando, we drove up from Georgia, had call someone in Georgia to take a picture of the title and show proof of insurance to get the car back. Imagine if this person lived alone and had no resource but to go all the way back to Georgia without a car to get a title to come back to get his car. An absolute nightmare and setup. Won’t...
Read more(2 out of 5 stars) Unacceptable pool conditions, poor cleanliness, and no guest support
We booked this home for a large family gathering and chose it specifically because of the private pool. Unfortunately, the pool was completely unusable for our entire stay. It was stagnant, filled with bugs, and not circulating. I removed a dead frog myself. The jets did not work for days, and a technician did not show up until the morning we were checking out. By then, it was too late.
There was no phone number to call, no live support, and no one showed up to help. We were forced to rely on unanswered text messages while trying to enjoy our trip.
I reached out after the stay to ask for a resolution and was met with a generic, canned response that deflected responsibility instead of addressing what happened. No apology can undo the fact that we paid for an experience that was never delivered.
Additional concerns: • Trash bins were overflowing and full of cockroaches when we arrived. We had to clean them ourselves • Showers had mildew, and a broken acrylic fingernail was left near the pool deck • Both refrigerators had moldy, clogged ice and water filters. Several guests developed sore throats before we realized the source • Furniture was torn, carpets were heavily stained, and the rug in the living room was a tripping hazard • Game room had missing foosballs and no lighting • The WiFi did not work at all. For a home marketed to large groups in 2025, this is unacceptable. People carry multiple devices, and basic internet access should be reliable. It was not
If a guest makes a mistake, we are charged immediately. But when the home is unclean, unprepared, and unsafe, there is no accountability. We made the best of our time as a family, but this property is not being maintained or managed at the level it promises.

Read moreThey require you to submit a picture of your photo ID and then a picture of yourself with your ID. This was not disclosed in the listing and if I wasn’t being coerced into providing it as I couldn’t cancel without forfeiting the amount of the stay I would have picked a different company to deal with. I’ve stayed across Airbnb and Marriott Homes and Villas and have never been required or asked to provide such sensitive information. This alone makes this experience non repeatable.
There is a deposit required which they don’t disclose in the listing, but you cannot receive your check in details without providing your credit card.
They did not send check in details. I had to call their emergency line as they were out of office to request the codes hours passed when check in was. No compensation for inconvenience. However, IF you are late getting out, you’ll be charge.
The information regarding trash is ambiguous @ best. When checking out we inquired of the resort where the “community” dumpster was located and they snidely replied it is the bin outside your door. However, the rental group stated that if you leave trash in the bin they will charge you. Trash must be taken to the “community dumpster”. Created unnecessary stress while trying to leave. (Never located said dumpster. Ended up faking all trash with us)
Per the contract they have you sign. You are required to prove that any damage was not caused by you, by submitting documentation of any damage or you will be charged.
Builder grade. Nothing to be excited about. If you are planning on staying on property this isn’t a nice condo. If you just need a place to sleep. It will...
