The scooter itself was great and held a charge a long time! However- the professionalism of the company not so much đ˛ When I booked the scooter it gave a delivery window between 7pm and 10pm and gave no indication that I needed to be there for receipt since I was staying on Disney property. However the day of delivery a guy called me and without introducing himself or what he was calling for very rudely asked âso uh when are you going to be at your resort?â I was confused seeing as how I was under the impression they could leave it with bell services...but told him we were away from the resort and wouldnât be back until after 9pm (well within the delivery window). He seemed miffed but okay with that. I get a call an hour later from a different girl asking when they can drop off my scooter. Again I told them I just talked with someone and told them I will be there at 9pm. She said she would make note of that and hung up. I get a call at 7:00pm from the delivery guy asking where I was because he was there to deliver my scooter. I told him I talked with TWO different people and told them both we wouldnât be back until 9pm and he was annoyed and said he would try and leave it with bell services. I never got a call back from him to confirm. I got back to my resort and called the last number that called me and he answer annoyed and I reminded him of who I was and asked if he was able to leave it and he told me yes and where he left it. So I went to bell services, told them what he told me and they brought me the scooter. Well as I headed back to our room on my scooter I noticed the tag on the scooter isnât my name. Itâs not the dates of my rental. It wasnât even delivered to the correct resort!! So I turned around and went back to bell services to see if maybe they just gave me the wrong scooter. But it was the only cloud of goods scooter they had. So I called the number on the tag for the company and explained that I had what appeared to be someone elseâs scooter. They said they would figure it out. Then I get a text message from them (they thought I was the delivery person perhaps) asking where I delivered the scooter. Then a follow up message asking me to disregard that text message. Then I get a call from them saying I have the right scooter and the wrong name tag. Then I get another call from the delivery guy basically saying the same thing. Like I said- the scooter was fantastic! Narrow- so easy to navigate the parks, in great condition, and held a long charge. Just wasnât too wowed by the communication or professionalism by...
Read moreThese folks aren't very well organized, but I did get a really good scooter, at a fair price that lasted all day every day for I charged it every night. Drop off didn't go as planned, for they don't follow there own instructions very well. The Resort in Orlando where I stayed doesn't have a contract with this company so I had to receive the scooter myself in the parking lot for the Resort Bell Hop won't receive it and hold it for me. The guy who dropped off scooter clearly said to call them for a specific pick up time at the end of rental, but apparently the folks running the office didn't get that message for two days before the pick up time they were calling me to schedule a time when all this time I thought I was supposed to call them. That was getting on my nerves. So it was time for me to call and schedule a pick up time, so I called to find they already did it themselves, wow these people are really un organized. So I go to parking lot to drop off scooter and guy says that after he looks at it and tells office folks he received scooter, they'll send me a receipt, guess what ? 48 hours after drop off still know receipt. Folks this is an honest review, the scooter gets 5 stars it did exactly what I needed it to do, but customer service is unorganized so it gets 2 stars. Get this, one of the customer service reps calls me on her personal cell phone while I was on my flight to Orlando, so when I landed I called back and she got mad at me for calling her on her personal cell phone, I'm like lady if you didn't call me how could I get this number? She had no clue. Then a different girl calls me about scheduling drop off, we agree to time. 5 minutes later she calls me back to do what we did 5 minutes ago ? I'll rent from them again only if customer service picks up, otherwise no thanks. Oh and one more thing, if you decide to go with these folks, pay extra for the insurance, for some customers really bang these scooters up, and you don't want to get stuck paying for damage by...
Read moreI needed to rent a knee walker just for 1 day and I needed to have it early in the morning (to do a 5K with a broken leg - I know, crazy). After doing an extensive search for wheelchair, etc. rental places and prices I decided to risk it and go with Cloud of Goods, even though I had never heard of it and there wasn't a physical store. Every other place in Orlando was at least $40+ for the day, plus a delivery fee (mostly delivery to Disney area hotels) OR if I picked it up the day before I would be charged for 2 days. Anyway, Cloud of Goods was SO great to work with, very professional, and a better deal!! First, they emailed the confirmation AND texted me that someone would call to confirm the order details. Within an hour or so I got a call from them and she confirmed everything including special instructions about delivering it to my sister's house rather than my apartment, etc. They also deliver the night before for no extra charge. You can pick the delivery time window and the pickup time and they have 2 hour windows up til 10pm - very convenient! The night it was getting delivered, I received a call from the driver with an estimate of what time he would be there. My sister said that when he arrived, he showed her how to use everything (adjust the bars, seat, etc.) and was really helpful. The next afternoon they called again and picked up the knee walker when I had scheduled and that was it! The walker was brand new and worked great. I googled Cloud of Goods before going with them to make sure they were a reputable company - they're based out of San Francisco and had all good reviews over there, but are newer in the Orlando area so didn't have many reviews here. I'm really happy with the service I received and highly recommend using Cloud of Goods if you ever need any sort of mobility rentals (wheelchairs,...
