Fruitvale Station — Local services in Oakland

It's a decent Bart stop, two blocks from my gal pals fresh new digs. So that's helpful. It's hot out there in the East Bay & the bus is like $3 at least. So I appreciate that I don't have far to walk or a pricey bus to wait for in the heat of the day just to pop in for a visit.

I also appreciate that it keeps in theme with the area's historic Mexican roots & serves as a complement to the adjacent open plaza newly built at ground level to two brand new apt complexes - a third of which now houses my friend. Yay! Still needs more trees & greenery to cool it down tho, if it's going to survive the current & projected rising...
