#1 Chinese Food — Restaurant in Ocala

I ordered delivery. Be prepared to have some patience with whoever it is that takes orders. My call was answered by a woman. I ordered, she repeated, but I honestly have no idea what she said the entire conversation other than the total and expected wait time of 30-45 minutes. I ordered at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night and it was here by 8 pm--excellent time for a Saturday. The food was alright. I ordered crab rangoons, vegetable fried rice, and sesame chicken. The sauce for the rangoons tasted like mildly salty olive oil (which maybe had food dye since it was neon red)... definitely not the tangy sweet and sour sauce I am used to. The rangoons were also luke warm. The fried rice was EXCELLENT! In their veggie version, they have a good mix of veggies and even add water chestnuts (one of my favorites). The sesame chicken was alright... a little chewy and overloaded with something that left a weird after taste. It wasn't so bad that I wouldn't order there again... but since I'm new to the area and didn't know any better, I will definitely try out the other chinese food places before calling them up again. Placed a phone order, the male who answered said it’ll be ready in 15 minutes and gave the total amount of $60, mind you I ordered 5 dinner meals. I arrived to pick up 25 minutes later, went inside and the food was in fact not ready for pick up. I had to sit and wait an additional 30 minutes. When the food was ready my total was $70, I told the cashier that I was told the total was $60 over the phone. He proceeded to say rudely “well the total is $70 not $60 like you were told.” Made it home just to find out the rice was hard and overall the food was not tasteful in a good way.
