Popped into this store and within a few minutes began hearing a harsh conversation. After it drew our attention we realized that it was a manager chastising an employee. She had papers in front of her and was going through them as if it was a formal review of this employee. She was pointing out all of the negative things that this poor employee had done and how her actions had lost them commission, etc. She was speaking rather loudly and in a very harsh tone. THIS WAS OCCURRING DURING OPEN HOURS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORE WHILE CUSTOMERS WERE PRESENT. The poor employee was just standing there taking it all in but it was extremely disconcerting and unprofessional of the manager to be reprimanding her employee in a public forum like that.    Read moreit says the store closes at 7 and at 6:43 i went to open the door and they had a girl standing right in the doorway to let you open the door then proceed to tell me they’re closed. i called the store when i got in the car and asked what time they closed and they said that they were closed (this was at 6:50.) i then proceeded to tell them on the website that it said it closed at 7. after the girl on the phone took a prolonged paused trying to think of an excuse, she then told me due to being “short staffed,” they had to close early. how short staffed can you be if you have an employee standing in front of the door standing there telling people they’re closed for probably 15 minutes. yet notice how they don’t lock the door when they’re “closed.” there were no customers in the store and if you’re closed, you lock the door. i guess michael kors is just hiring...

As we entered the store, an employee made an unnecessarily harsh comment about my sister's flip flops being on the wrong feet. Despite my sister already being aware and having joked about it before we walked in, the employee stopped us and insisted she switch them right there in the middle of the store.
While I understand the intention might have been well-meaning, the way it was handled felt unprofessional and rude. It embarrassed my sister and created an uncomfortable experience for both of us.
