Wine Rack — Local services in Ocean City

I love the store itself, great selection and Rita’s Cakes which is my favorite. However, the past 2 nights I have gone for wine and the lady has closed the store early. It was 1:45 am and she kicked out 4 other customers and myself. She would not allow us to purchase alcohol and I know it’s only a few minutes but she could have sold quite a few items in that time. I get it. I’ve worked retail for several years. I understand when you wanna get out of there but when you work in a place that sells alcohol, people rush to get there by 2 AM that’s kind of the name of the game not to mention the store owner is losing Quite a few bucks...

Terrible experience. The man behind the register had a nasty attitude when I said he hadn’t given me the other lottery ticket back. He then told me to get out and leave. Then argued with another member of my family and came out from behind the register threatening to shove him out of the store. Mind you this all happened in front of my kids. The manager had to come and push him back behind the register. I wonder if they treat all women that shop in this...

I have been going there for wine and beer for over 15 years. Steve or Mike are the wine experts there and they always provide excellent insite and guidance on wine selection. That store's wine selection\pricing would not be the same without them and I would recommend talking to either of them to anyone putting together a nice bottle of wine for the evening to a case of wine for many evenings.
