Mavis Discount Tires — Local services in Ocean Isle Beach

I was visiting family in Ocean Isle Beach, NC when I accidentally left my back hatch open causing my battery to die. When we got my car started the touch screen was temporarily disabled and I couldn’t get it back on.Obviously , I needed this fixed to assist me in getting back home. My uncle advised me to take it to Mavis Discount Tires. I was immediately greeted by a very nice gentleman, who was friendly and respectful. He said he’d look at it right away. He kept me updated as to what he was doing, why and how much longer it would be. I received excellent service and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs anything done to their vehicle. The gentleman was also from the same state as I am. Upon completion he told me to have a safe trip home and that there was no charge. I repeatedly tried to pay him. He smiled and said simply, “ Pay it forward.” I am forever grateful that I had such a pleasant experience and was able to witness a great act of kindness at the same time. Thank-You! 😊 May God...

It's not often that one receives exceptional service in today's environment. Over the last 2 days I received just that from Jim at Mavis. I needed 2 replacement tires due to damaged tire, and an oil change. They didn't have a suitable tire in stock...a problem. But Jim went to work and noted he could get 2 of the same tires in for me the next day. He explained the cost vs other options, I went with it, and had appt for me at noon.

Came in today Friday at noon and dropped off car. Jim called in less than 2 hrs, car was done. Picked up vehicle, Jim greeted me, explained all they had done and the cost. Out of there in no time.

Quick, easy, friendly professional service at a fair price. Service and customer areas very clean and organized, staff in uniforms and busy. Can't beat it!

We were in Ocean Isle a few weeks ago for a family vacation. I was unable to get my car serviced before we left our hometown and I knew I needed tires. We were lucky to find this great location and they had the tires I needed and were available to go ahead and take care of it right away. They were very knowledgeable and the store was very clean. They gave us recommendations of restaurants in the area so we could go eat while we waited. It did take a little longer than they had suggested it would but they also determined I needed new brake pads and took care of that for me as well. Which I kind of suspected! For us to be able to get new tires before we went back on the road to drive home was a huge relief. This was a great location with great staff...
