Tsunami Surf Shop No. 4 — Local services in Ocean Isle Beach

Extremely rude manager who doesn't value your business but thinks of customers as thieves. Between myself, another adult and our 4 children we had several things we were carrying around the store as we were shopping. The manager saw my son holding the figet spinner he was going to get and fussed at him to go put it back. Mind you it was from an open bucket located at the counter and he was walking right beside me. When I confronted him about how disrespectful he was to my son he didn't apologize but fussed with me about how much stuff gets stolen from them and they run a big business as though that gives them some right to be ugly. I left my stuff sitting on the counter. Obviously they are too big to appreciate my business so I will absolutely NEVER step into tsunami at ocean isle again! We are not thieves and will not shop at a store where they think of their customers as such. There are other places to shop...

I wish there was a half a star rating because when I went into that store I saw a pretty hat that I liked and I got a OIB sticker and I went to the register and the staff guy there rang my hat up as 35.00 when the tag said it was only 4.49 and the staff said he will lower the price down when I said no and he tried again he tried to lower the price several times but never to the advertise clearance price I said no I don’t want it he told me,Don’t bring it up if your not going to pay for it! I walked off and he gave me an despise look You shouldn’t advertise a price on a tag and then jack it up outrageously only to not honor the ticketed price then be angry you have to put it back. Typical beach store selling cheap stuff. Service makes this a one-star shop. Older man with glasses behind the counter was rude and dismissive to my wife, and also gave her an unfair exchange to her trying to return, an already over-priced, bathing suit. Same employee scoffed at another one of our friends counting out exact change for him, saying “women” under his breath. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review for one of these stores until until this dreadful place. There’s got to be hundreds of other beach stores like this to choose from in this area and would recommend any of them over...
