North Beach Medical Equipment — Local services in Ocean Shores

Thank you is not a strong enough word for this business I went to Ocean Shores on a Sunday looking for a business called North Beach Medical we went to their previous address and the sign in the window said they were closed it said you can find us at the new address so we went over there just to see if they might be around as luck has it there were people inside the building so me and my husband got out of my car and went in I said hi I really need your help I am in need of a scooter see I have broken my tibula and my ankle so I could not walk he said well we are actually closed but let me see what I can do I think that day I met the whole family and they met my whole family so they were in the process of moving and their store was in shambles but they helped me anyways and that's probably the best thing I like about this family and this business as they help and they go above and beyond let me tell you my experience with this family they rolled out a red scooter the older gentleman went and got his tire pump and started pumping up the tires the older woman came over and started talking to me about what happened and she actually listened to me she looked me in the eye and actually listened to what happened to me his wife then came over and put her arm on my shoulder and told me I was going to be all right see because I started crying and that they were there to help well they fixed the scooter and I was on my way because they hadn't had anything to eat that day and they were closed mind you so a couple of weeks later I had to go back because I needed a wheelchair and when I went back Rick was there alone and he was such a wonderful man very respectful understanding and very trustworthy very knowledgeable about his equipment now let me tell you about how the business runs you going to ask for what you need if they have it in stock they write you up on a piece of paper and it put you into the computer they have to have paperwork don't you know from there you keep on using the equipment until you don't need it anymore then you bring it back to them and if you can possibly at that time give a donation see that's the best part about my experience we had no money and everyone in town wanted me to buy everything that I needed Rick and his family all they ask for is a donation to help them keep the equipment up and keep going and to help people like me without Rick and his family I wouldn't be able to walk today so with this all being said I highly recommend Rick and his business at North Beach Medical thank you for your time your patience and your understanding and all that you do for the community we surely do appreciate it... a huge THANKS from...

Rich is very understanding and knowledgeable about medical conditions. He is resourceful and generally knows what you need based off of small bits of information. I got my own cane from his establishment and I'm going to be picking up another mobility aid tomorrow from him. All of his medical supplies are free. He maintains his building and his service mainly off of donations, so if you can I highly encourage you to donate! He truly tries his best to make sure that people in his community are taken care of. What a wonderful service to have for the north beach community. When my mother came out of the hospital she was very week and needed a number of items and supplies for me to care for her during her recovery. They were helpful, knowledgeable and it was all provided free of charge. This should be a model for every community to have. Remember, they operate on donations! So anything you can do to help with $ or equipment you can donate......
