I am going to post this review on both the Ocean Springs and D’Iberville Post Offices sites. Our home is pretty much the same distance from either post office, so we have used them both about equal in the past; no longer. I’ll go to Ocean Springs PO in a pinch or to drop off a letter, but given my choice, I now much prefer the D’Iberville PO.
At the D’Iberville PO, you usually get a smile; you always have their full attention, and they give you thorough, complete information and suggestions on how to save on shipping. They look you in the eye when talking to you, and they treat you like a person, like a customer. More often than not, I leave there smiling.
At Ocean Springs, the best I can describe it is that it is like dealing with a KIOSK machine. There is no human interaction, no helpful suggestions; you only get information if you know exactly what to ask; you are just as likely to get a shrug or a blank stare.
Polite human interaction is not difficult; making another person, a customer, feel OK is not tough. Having worked in customer service for over 40 years, I know something about it, and it is not difficult to send your customer away feeling good about the experience.

So now I have to go find where they took my packages NeXT week. Why did I pay for delivery if they aren’t delivering it?? Why do I have to be on the phone for HOURS trying to find out why they didn’t knock and why do I have to go look for my very expensive package because they didn’t wanna get out their mail truck? This is ridiculous. I’ve been on hold with them for over an hour, I’ve had to call 5 different times because I can’t understand what they are saying. Why can’t I get in trouble with someone local? They'll put it other people's mailboxes in our neighborhood or they will just straight up lie and say they delivered something and then it'll magically appear in your mailbox 2 days later from them. I've lived all over the US and this is by far the worst usps I've experienced. I'm getting sick and tired of my mail never being delivered. What is even the point of informed delivery if it's not going to show up in my mailbox.
