Food was great as always. But wow. Hands down the worst server I've ever had. She should possibly win an award for how bad she is at it. I can handle bad attitude or forgetting stuff or having an off night and I'll still tip extremely well, but this was a masterclass in awful service. I just couldnt bring myself to tip nothing but definitely the lowest ive ever gone. It was dead inside and there were like 10 servers all chatting to themselves so it definitely wasn't because it was busy and was nowhere near closing time. After 5 mins or so she finally walked over and acknowledged us but by her attitude she was clearly extremely upset about it. All good, we still were super friendly when we ordered our drinks and food. Then she was either happily chatting with other servers or sitting at a table on her phone the entire time and never brought dip we ordered but still charged us for it. When she did drop our actual food at the table, she didn't even make so much as eye contact with us, let alone ask if we needed anything else. We couldn't help but laugh cause it seemed like she literally ran away to avoid any interaction. She never came back again. Not once. No checking on us. No refills or napkins. She wouldnt even turn our direction or glance our way the few times she went to the tables next to us. Over thirty minutes passed and we finally just interrupted her leaving another table so we could just get our check and leave. It was so painfully awkward and she seemed super offended we spoke to her. "Could we get the check please" was literally all we said. We noticed she also interacted with her other tables the same way so I can assume it wasn't anything personal. She just clearly doesn't give any f's about the job to such a degree its impressive lol. We love this place, especially the Gautier location, and have never had a bad experience in the dozens of times we have been. We normally love Aztecas BUT we just had a negative dining experience this evening. Our server Alexandra G displayed a cold and aggravated attitude towards my Husband and I. She misheard my husband’s drink order (no big deal) but when he attempted to NICELY tell her about it, she immediately got short with us. She never checked on us until the very end of service (when my husband had finished his plate and I needed a box for mine). We were also charged full price for happy hour drinks. We ordered them 15 minutes before happy hour ended, so we should have gotten them at happy hour price. She dropped my box and our check off without a word, even after I thanked her. I’m a server myself so I know how things go in a restaurant, and I’m never one to leave a bad review but this was just unacceptable. We were pleased with the food. We were seated right away, but the waitress was a little slow. We got our complementary chips and salsa immediately by a server assistant. The waitress showed up about 10 minutes later and took our drink order. The room was only at about 60% capacity so not too busy. About 15 minutes after we got the waters the waitress took out food order (25:minutes total). The food arrived less than 10 minutes later, by the server assistant, not the waitress. Last week it was opposite, it took 20 minutes to be seated, but only 20 minutes to get chips, water, and food total. Last week all the tables were filled. So it was not the restaurant or the cooks. It really depends on your server. Plus last week we got water refills without asking, this week we did not get any water refills. Well the food is excellent, good luck...
