Return policies are terrible and the customer service is a joke! I hope none of the students working in this store want to go into any sort of customer service industry. I purchased notes for a class two prior to classes starting. At the same time I purchased a clearance item and was clearly told the clearance item was non-returnable. I ended up not needing the notes and tried to return them a week or so into the semester. The cashier sends me to the textbook area for “approval “ on the return of these unopened notes. The dark haired woman at the textbook area tells me no way, the return policy is on your receipt. It’s not, fyi. Next she says it’s clearly stated on signs all over the store, it’s one line of a paragraph long sign in small print. “This is yours now.” And she walks away without another word. I found both the manager as well as technicians to be dishonest with regard to their interpretation of Apple warrantees. After one hour and 30 minutes, I ended up calling Apple support and requesting a box myself to ship it in for service.
