At home is an overall great place to shop. I am consistently being given the opportunity to view many sales that are going on and with the economy like it is saving money is important. My wife and i live in the panhandle so most of our purchases are either on line or when we do get to make the trip to okc. Last summer i bought my wife a white cheetah to join the large menagerie of garden animal statues that she has placed through out her garden. It was ordered on line and shipped to our home. When it arrived we were very pleased with the size and beauty of this statue. It arrived in good shape and immediately took up residence in her garden. A few weeks later i went to move it in order to do some pruning in the garden and its leg fell off. Now mind you i could understand if it was knocked over and broke that would be one thing but it shouldnt fall apart by moving it. I was irritated but resigned to see what i could do to reattach its leg. Thats when i really got irritated. At some time prior to us receiving this statue the leg had already been broken off and then reattached!! I could see where some gluing agent had been applied (there were voids where the glue didnt cover) and a closer inspection showed some had squeezed out of the seam. There is no way to know at which stage of processing this happened but happen it did and was then passed along til we purchased a inferior product. We got the shaft because being able to return it meant that a trip to the city or expensive shipping would be required. Now this review should have been written months ago but wasnt because we decided it was more trouble than what it was worth even if it was a couple hundred dollars. Soooo, that was then and this is now and brings me to the point of this review. This should be much shorter but less sweet. My wife ordered some (several) garland on line and we were going to do the drive up and they bring it out to your car. This has became standard practice in the world we live in. So we pull up to the at home on macarthur and drive around the parking lot searching for parking spaces designated for this service. After finding no spaces we opted to park in a handicapped space near the door (yes were both disabled) and hung our tag. We contacted the store via the app and told them we had arrived. 45 minutes later our garland arrived and we were rudely advised that even though nowhere in the app we were told where to park, that employees cant bring stuff to the parking lot and that we were supposed to park by the door in the NO PARKING FIRE ZONE area. Read moreIf I could give less stars than that I would. ELIZA followed my family and I around the store the entire visit. I came into the store for Christmas decorations and I found a ton. This was my first time at this location but I buy my Christmas items from them every year. They have BEAUTIFUL Christmas items and I love Christmas. Because of that poor experience. I only bought scent pouches. We were looking at curtains and Eliza walked up behind my sister and reached over her shoulder without saying excuse me or anything treat us like animals. My feeling were terribly hurt by this experience so I shared the information with Hannah requesting a manager to speak with because at this point I’ve seen multiple reviews about Eliza and it’s not ok for her to treat people that look like me like we don’t belong. That’s not ok. Only one person greeted us or spoke to us through out the entire store. I’m so disappointed I’m not gonna go back to ANY location because they seem to be ok with the display of Eliza’s belittling behavior and i don’t appreciate it. Ultimately my card is plastic and money is green JUST like everyone else. So I deserve to be treated like any other customer. -5 starts for me because 1st impression is everything and I read a review where Eliza did this 9months ago to another customer and yet shes still super comfortable repeating the behavior to other customers. Whoever is in charge of purchasing deserves a raise ! I found 10 things that everyone online is out of stock or simply cant get , and other local stores had nothing even comparable ! .. brand new Christmas decorations being put out when I walked n , so i rolled my eyes and thought Already ?? Really ???but by the time I had walked thru the store and back thru 😉 i found myself on one of the isles that had already been completely stocked with all that Christmas inventory!! I spotted everything i need for my Christmas decorations this year and i each line was stacked and separated by color and theme !! So no guessing if it matches and the price is so good that u buy 2 of everything and there's a lot !! Everything u need very methodically laid out n front of u so that u go n rolling your eyes and u leave owning one of everything skipping to the car humming JINGLES BELLS !! I try to always leave feedback when Google asks me to so i review almost everywhere I go and this is the most detailed I've ever been !! But the person who was in charge of putting together the team of people it takes to run this store deserved my time and attention to say THANK YOU !!
