Visiting Burlington can be a mixed bag of experiences, and unfortunately, my recent trip was more on the disappointing side. While the store boasts an extensive selection of products at competitive prices, the shopping experience was marred by long lines and a shortage of cashiers.
Upon entering the store, I was excited to browse through their diverse range of merchandise, from clothing to home decor. However, as I made my way to the checkout counters, I was met with a sight that instantly dampened my enthusiasm ā long queues stretching back into the aisles.
Despite the evident influx of customers, the number of open cash registers was woefully inadequate. It seemed as though Burlington was unprepared for the volume of shoppers, leading to frustratingly slow progress at the checkout. The few available cashiers appeared overwhelmed, struggling to keep up with the demand.
As I waited in line, I couldn't help but notice the growing impatience and frustration among fellow customers. Many sighed audibly, while others exchanged exasperated glances. Some even abandoned their carts altogether, opting to leave empty-handed rather than endure the lengthy wait.
While I eventually made it to the cashier and completed my purchase, the overall experience left much to be desired. Burlington's failure to adequately staff their checkout counters significantly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable shopping trip. It's disheartening to see a store with such potential fall short in providing efficient customer service.
In conclusion, while Burlington offers great value and an extensive product range, the inconvenience caused by long lines and a shortage of cashiers diminishes the overall shopping experience. Until these issues are addressed, shoppers may find themselves reconsidering whether the savings are worth the...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I had a very troubling experience at this Burlington location that made me uncomfortable enough to leave without shopping. Thereās a new policy where security has to manually let customers in. A woman approached to enter, and instead of simply doing his job, the security guard began taunting herāpretending to be from another location and making unnecessary jokes. She was visibly uncomfortable and chose to walk away. As she did, he mockingly called out āBYEā in a disrespectful tone.
The customer never said a word to him, yet he continued with behavior that was entirely uncalled for. In todayās world, with all the concerns about safety, trafficking, and public violence, it is crucial that staffāespecially securityāact professionally and respectfully. This manās conduct showed a clear lack of proper training.
I didnāt catch his name, but he was an African American man with a short Afro. I truly hope Burlington takes this seriously and ensures their staff is properly trained in customer interaction, empathy, and de-escalation. His behavior was not only unprofessional, but it created an environment that felt unsafe...
