I came to Golden Corral on Thanksgiving, expecting the usual holiday chaos—long lines at the carving station, tables piled with plates like a dishwashing apocalypse, and staff running around like caffeinated turkeys. But then there was Sherry, the superhero waitress with the power of 10 people and the calm of someone who clearly knows the secret to life (spoiler: it’s probably sweet tea).
This woman didn’t just keep our drinks full; she practically read our minds. I swear, I thought about needing a refill, and BOOM—Sherry was there, like a beverage ninja, ready with the pitcher. The restaurant was packed, every table full, and yet Sherry somehow kept everything running smoother than a gravy fountain at a fancy buffet. I half-expected her to start juggling plates while telling us the history of cranberry sauce.
Sherry, if you’re reading this, I’m convinced you’re actually a time traveler sent to ensure humanity doesn’t descend into chaos during holiday meals. You made what could have been a stressful dinner feel like a five-star experience. Golden Corral, you better clone her because she’s a legend. Five stars for food, service, and the pure joy of watching Sherry conquer Thanksgiving chaos...
Read moreIt is buffet food. Like any other business they got to make money. In the efforts to make money they cut corners. I think that if you're reading this review you have already been to Golden corral and you know what's going on. Just in case you haven't, I will be straight to the point. At 4:00 you pay extra for the all you can eat steak, and this location the steak is not very good. At the time that I updated this the state that I got was full of gristle and tough. They no longer have strawberries and I no longer offer bacon bits on the salad bar. I found this location to be clean and the staff courteous. Like any other buffet, there is nothing here that stands out to be the best. Of course they have their famous yeast rolls that are good. Much of the food is to be desired and is one maybe 2 notches above the quality of school food. They have a good selection of dessert, but the chocolate fountain is closed to the public as of this post. The best dessert they have there is the chocolate pie and my favorite the carrot cake. 7/30/2021 updated 01/31/2025. I no longer focus on carbohydrates. You can do keto and carnivore but it will...
Read moreA good place for the family to grab a meal. A selection of food that was kept stocked pretty well during a busy time. Our server Maria was awesome! My husband drinks his weight in sweet tea and she didn’t miss a beat! He was very satisfied with his cup being full! If anything could improve I’d suggest more timely bathroom checks. The woman’s restroom has a leak from what appears to be underneath the left sink and has lead to water being all over the floor. Toilet tissue was across several bathroom stalls as well. However Soap dispensers were full, air hand dryers, and a baby changing station were present. The price really can’t be beat for what you get either. We paid $28.00 for two of us to do “all you can eat” during the lunch hour on a Friday. Manager Diana seemed to enjoy her job and kept a level of professionalism while guiding and encouraging the other staff. I heard her mention “station checks” and I felt better about that knowing...
